Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 9 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and a new baby girl named Lyla. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 7 years.

Once again all my condoléances to Wat and his family. His dad looks as such a kind person . I am very touched by your respect for thaï traditions as well as your human side. I appreciate your video because it’s made in the dignity of the deceased,Wat and his family. Thai funerals are so different from ours. The respect of the deceased goes so far as to honor his memory in a positive way (music, dance, children playing, etc.)

Wat is so calm. I never see him get excited about much. He doesn’t say much he just smiles and say yes to you and agrees with you. I love that he prayed over his meals. I didn’t think he was excited about religion as you are but I see him change every video.

Oh wow, so sorry to hear this sad news and Grandpa certainly looked fabulously fit for his age 5 months back so, as you said, totally unexpected which does make it tougher to cope with as I found out with my parents. Stay strong and take care guys. I know the family as always happens will rally together in this sad time and help each other with the grieving process. RIP grandpa .

Dear Lilly, So sorry to hear of your loss. Your family is so beautiful and your husband seems to be a wonderful husband and father. You are so very lucky. Many are transitioning at this time as we all make our way to ascension. I am an expat living in Italy for 30 years and just lost my Mom here with me in Italy 2 weeks ago. These times are so difficult but faith in the Divine and knowledge that all is in perfect harmony with the universe and Divine love helps us to confront our losses. Prayers are with you and your family. Your videos are beautiful and so real. I remember Thailand well. What a beautiful country.

Lilly you are my sister in the Lord. When I heard that Christian worship on the beach I immediately cried like you, it is a spiritual reaction of love for your savior. In a land where 95 percent believe in Buddha and less than 1 percent Christian that moment was priceless. It's something my heart would long for hearing often. If only that church worship team knew the immediate impact their service had on our lives. Thank You for the scripture at the end of that video a perfect ending. I pray for your family is blessed from this event.

You should realize that there is only ONE God instead of wishing people would convert . Jesus studied buddhism and hinduism and learned yoga to perform his miracles!

@@fengshui173 I do believe in one God and I believe anyone can go to him through his son Jesus. The only way to God is through the blood of Jesus by asking forgiveness for sins and asking him to give you everlasting life. Without this the holy spirit doesn't enter your body. Jesus taught in mostly synagogues, houses and boats and on land. His miracles came from his father when he prayed, it was his faith that allowed him to raise people from the dead and calm the wind and waves, heal people etc. I believe in Christianity after studying many religions but I also respect your belief, everyone should be able to believe without guilt. 5 Billion out of 8 Billion people believe in God. If people convert it maybe because they had a life changing experience.

So sorry for your loss. My brother lived in Thailand for 12 years and suddenly died 10 days before his 65th Birthday, so being his only sibling I made my first trip to the land of smiles . The temple took me right back. Sending massive love to Wat and you all x
