Heartfelt Tribute To Late Mr. Aadesh Shrivastava At The Royal Stag Mirchi Music Awards! 

when Love Story was released in 1981 i was a kid of 12. The songs still draw me back to those days of romance and beauty. I will always remember Gaurav and Vijayeta and over all those years, from the 1980s till date, i have always spoken in praise of them to my friends, and later to my students. Long Live Love Story. today itself was broaching the subject of the film to my younger colleagues in the staff room. We miss u, Vijeyeta and Gaurav. I'M SANJAY FROM MAURITIUS.

You have been a great blessing to your sister, Sulakshana, in her time of need and care, setting good example to your own two sons. I am sure they will both cherish and take good care of you in yòur time of need too. I lost my friend to cancer previous year. He had a small kid of three years and belonged to a poor family. He worked hard and became a UNICEF consultant. He had a big family and did everything he could do for his family.

Such a beautiful and loving couple! It's like in the movies! This lady, a beautiful actress and singer herself, the daughter and sister of renowned musicians, is such a simple and humble lady. She has gone through very tough times, be it wrt her own career, the tragic life of her sister, whom she supported and even the loss of her sister and brother in law and then the biggest blow of losing her husband to cancer. It is heartbreaking to read and watch their interviews about Aadesh ji's first victory against cancer, especially the interview with Komal Nahta. It seemed to them like everything would be fine after that. It would have been so terrible for Aadesh ji and their family to go through everything all over again and then lose the battle. God bless the family.

I met with Adesh shrivastave in Dubai at reef mall stage of radio4 as radio4 gave me best senior contestant award in 2006.Next early morn8ng I was travelling to India after 9years and Allah gave me new life. I asked Adesh shrivastave you are bengali he replied with smiling face no my wife is bengali.That was my first and last meeting with extreme talented music personality.

Vijayta ji still has a great singing voice. I hope Bollywood fraternity will give her singing chance in movies. At least that would help the family financially and help see to the boys' full and proper education as well as establish their future careers in fields of their choice. Hope Aadesh Ji's boys too inherit their parents' singing talent so we can get the chance to hear Aadesh Ji through these boys. We truly miss Aadesh Ji's wonderful voice and those great songs. I especially love that song which the trio, Alka Ji, Shaan Ji n Babul Ji sang. Brought tears to my eyes..so soulful..
