Hearthside Craftworks Mark 2 Embroidery Floor Frames are sold through www.evertote.ca
www.evertote.ca/products/hear...
Current wait time for a floor frame is approx 1-3 months.
Each stand is carefully hand crafted by John, then brought to the Evertote team to ensure that all parts are working - this means that each and every stand will be tested by a member of the Evertote team before being shipped to you!
The Mark II Floor Stand comes with:
- 36 inch Crossbar
- 30 inch pair of scroll rods
- Flip Frame Mechanism
- Pattern Holder
- Accessory Tray
- Set of 4 Knobs
Features:
- The "Flip Frame" feature allows you to rotate the scroll frame 360 degrees without adjusting any knobs. This makes it easy to flip from the front to the back of your project
- Height adjustable in 1 inch increments (from 30in - 36in)
- Straddles wheelchairs, rockers, recliners, and other furniture (see notes below for seat requirements)
- Accessory tray measures 10.5 in x 6 in
Notes on Seat Requirements:
- This stand must be able to go over (straddle) your seat (measure your chair and make sure that it is no wider than 36", or else you will need to special order a longer crossbar
- The floor stand is not suitable for use with seating that has built in footrests (unless the stand is wide enough to go over the rest - verify measurements before ordering)
- For couches/loveseats you will need a 3 in clearance between the bottom of the furniture and the floor to ensure there is enough room for the foot of the frame to slide underneath
Other Stand Requirements:
- Scroll rods must be at least 6 inches shorter than the crossbar, this is important in ensuring that the flip frame mechanism has enough clearance on either side to work properly
Customizations:
If you require customizations to your stand or other accessories, please contact us for a quote at info@evertote.ca

Can we attach shorter scroll rods? Or do they all have to be 30 inches?
@evertote
@evertote Год назад
Absolutely - 30” is the max size with the standard cross bar. The flip frame arms easily adjust closer together for shorter rods.

I just received my floor stand and this video was very helpful! I absolutely love my new stand! My current project fits perfectly on the scroll rods! Definitely will be using for many years to come! Thank you for the perfect stitching floor stand!💙

I have a 48" cross bar and it's amazing for all my larger full coverage projects.

Thank you for this video! I have several different lengths of the Millenium frame from the UK. They have a floor stand but aren’t making them now for some reason. I’m wondering if there could be a way to adapt this floor stand! I wouldn’t be able to use the flip bars but maybe some bars so that my frame could just sit on them. I love the tray and pattern holder. The whole thing looks so sturdy.

We have add on brackets that work with the Millenium and Omanik frames and you can still use the flip frame mechanism. I’m using my Omanik right now😊 I’ll be doing a few accessory videos next week!

I'm assuming if you are working with shorter scrolls, one can adjust the which hole the side bar goes into?

Correct!

@@evertote Thank you so much Caroline.

Terrific demo Caroline. That flip function alone is worth it. I use millennium frames and will contact the team Re. placing an order. Also...do you offer a clear coat finish rather than a colored stain finish?
@evertote
@evertote Год назад
Hi Peg, I double checked with John and he can absolutely do just a custom clear coat version - no problem.

Are we able to use other rods with projects already mounted on them in the flip rotating side bars? Also, you mentioned a 2-3 month wait, if we were to buy now or in January could we possibly be able to pick up at Stitch North in May? Thank you!
@evertote
@evertote Год назад
Yes other rods will work, and I keep my WIPs on bars to swap out. I’m not certain about brands since I haven’t tried many myself, but I’ve heard that American Dream rods will fit. And yes, if you ordered now, you could def pick up at Stitch North. Thanks for asking!

Is the pattern holder strong enough to hold a tablet or is it just for use with a paper pattern
@evertote
@evertote Год назад
You can rest one on the pattern holder, but we actually make a tablet specific adapter as an additional accessory - it screws into the crossbar the same way and has the hardware to hold the tablet. It’s listed and described in better detail on the website under the accessories tab. Thanks for asking!

I have a Hearthside lap stand - is there a kit to convert to a floor frame?
@evertote
@evertote Год назад
Unfortunately not. The joints on the flip frame mechanism are different because the arm is different. The scroll rods would of course work on both.

Can the Mark 2 be folded for storage?
@evertote
@evertote 5 месяцев назад
We ship our stands flat, and everything done for assembly can be undone for storage! It won't bend on it's own - knobs and nuts/bolts etc would need to be removed, but there's no reason you couldn't take it apart as often as you wanted. Hope that helps!
