As someone who’s been getting run over by self harm warlocks, I don’t see Bran being an issue at all. He’s frickin’ 6 mana for a 2/4. If someon’es even playing a half fast deck, you are in trouble unless you draw really, really well.
Warrior has a lot of crazy efficient removal along with a lot of cycle effects and survival tools. With bellowing flames, safety goggles sanitize, brawlers, gifts brawl, trial, the deck has a lot of options to interact and survive even after taking turn 6 off to drop a bran. A lot of decks have frustrating play patterns, but bran drop into boom boss is especially frustrating because you immediately know you'll be down at least 6 cards and automatically know you lose fatigue. Not to mention even if you play through it, it randomly blows up any answers you have in hand to the game state.
@@FallingIsReverseAscending That sounds like more of an issue with the 8 mana TNT dude. A card they’ve already nerfed. Here’s the reality: every time they make a card/class that can cause MASSIVE disturbance, it sucks to be on the losing end of that. At the same time, I HATE decks that rely on a single card to win. That’s why it’s my mission to Dirty Rat/TNT/whatever to get Siv out of someone’s deck. If your deck sucks without 1 card, then that deck shouldn’t be played imo. I can’t even tell you how many times my Bran has been at the bottom of my deck. There are no guarantees when it comes to drawing 1 card. So…. I don’t see it being an issue. Is it a strong deck? Yeah, it’s not bad. But those efficient removals you’re talked about, if you don’t draw like ALL of them when playing against aggro, you lose every time. And even if you do draw well, aggro can still kill you by turn 6. Game is fine imo. There are no cards that “need’ nerfing. Just cards people are annoyed to lose to.
@@leeartlee915 Every time Brann has been part of the meta, he has negatively warped the game around himself. And that was the normal version that only doubled battle cries while he was on the field. The problem with the current version is that once he's played, there's nothing you can do to counter it. Nothing. Every battle cry afterwards is doubled, forever. Every excavate. Every "deal x damage to a minion or face". Every "gain armor" or "destroy the opponent's deck" card. And the only solution is to either play dirty rat and hope you hit Brann, or play a hyper aggressive deck and hope you get to kill the warrior before turn 6. And that alone means it's having an influence on the meta to a degree where people feel forced to either play a certain archetype or certain cards for the off chance of encountering one of almost a dozen possible enemy classes. And that's why I think he's problematic. Personally my favorite suggestion for a possible nerf was changing him to "for the rest of your game, your excavates are doubled". It still is very powerful, it'd fit very much with his theme, and it would decrease the effect on Boom Boss and similar drastically.
@@leeartlee915so there should be no even remotely good Warrior/neutral battlecry minions for BRANN to abuse? Astalor, Boomboss, Tendrils, any good battlecry and Brann is a meta warper, he’s the problem. And that’s coming from a Warrior main.
@@obviousbear1289 *Shrug* I’m just not as bothered by him as others I guess. I’ve been pissed at cards/classes before but that’s when I think the outcome is already decided before one card is played. I don’t even think Warrior is the class I lose to the most right now. Nope, think that little honor goes to Hunter, the most f’ed up class in the game by the simple fact that their entire class design is to “go hit face. Push button for face dmg. Kill opponent with face”.
