The deck called Casino Mage exists for a good two years, and yes, it is fueled by your opponents' salt from the RNG.

I used to play casino mage a lot. Obviously the winrate wasn't as high as with freezemage back then, but I was still at over 50%, and had tons of fun

never played arena before? deck of wonders in arena is just as shitty as it is in constructed. have fun having your whole hand discarded or your enemy minions buffed.

80% of my hearthstone time is arena, and i havent spent any money on any content because i farm the gold in arena (except the last expansion i got 50 packs because i hadnt played for like 2 months prior) deck of wonders is by no means a bad card, mage can deal with the board very efficiently and have the time to play it, and from what ive seen, its about a 60-40 in favor of good outcomes

Deck of wonders is pretty bad in arena in my experience, there isn't really any conceivable scenario where 5 mana do nothing is a good play, the spells you get have to come up fast and get good results for it to work, and you have to not die. Your best bet in my opinion is to hold on to it until the endgame and then try to cast it when you're in topdeck mode. I still draft it because its super fun though, and you feel amazing whenever you get it to work. Explore Un-goro, on the other hand, is actually a pretty good arena card in my experience, so some meme cards can work, but whenever I've drafted deck of wonders, its just sat in my hand, taking up space and being in a place that's impossible to play effectively until I win or lose without the card.

For those wondering at 10:53 Effects like drawing cards and immediately playing them all happen at the same instance. Basically since 3 occurred at the same time, it is the same as if the spell was: Deal 5 Damage to all minions except Dragons, Discover a Taunt Minion, and gain a copy of friendly damaged minions to your hand. It is worth mentioning that because it works like this, it works significantly different to Yogg Saron (as each spell is its own instance). This means minions actually will persist through effects like Twisting Nether. Hope that helps! (If you have more questions, I made a video on its effect).

TheHappy115 I think it’s supposed to be a bug, because every card drawn has an effect of their own. And after each effect, the board should recalculate its current state then continue to draw a card, just like Yogg. But I think it’s a bug because the main card still says Draw a card, so that’s why the board only recalculate at the end of every consecutive card drawn, due to the fact that it makes a chain reaction on its own. TL, DR Its definitely a bug, not matter how you look at it. Just look at the dead minions for example, no other cards interacts like that

IMLR. Not really. It's exactly because of the "draw a card" effect that this interaction makes sense. It's one effect triggering another, like when you kill a Bittertide Hydra with Eruption. It goes to negative life during the effect and the animation gets interrupted by every damage tick.

but if he concedes, the mage only has 1 more try with that deck. It's a really funny deck you can't craft often, wouldn't you just want that win so you could have at least 2 more crazy games with it?
