[Hearthstone] Dungeon Run Is Amazing! 

The AI is still hilarious. I played empty board Sylvanas against the Discard quest boss, and it played Deathwing in response

Just allow us to complete quests in dungeon runs at least, that would be pretty dope

This is what brought me back to Hearthstone.

I beat the rogue one as a 200 HP mill rogue. EZ

I beat the trap room as warrior by realizing I had more cards in my deck than its so I used my hero power each turn and fatigued the trap room and only killed his stuff when I needed to.

Kripp just wanna tell u that youre awesome. Almost lost my intrest in HS but this vid got me hyped again for this expansion.

got to agree that the rogue one is really rng based... i completed it on my 1st try... the final boss was the dude that removes the top of my deck every turn... and got lucky he didnt removed the 2 mana card that adds both decks in 1 pile and then split it in half... thx to that card i managed to complete it.. tried a couple more rogues runs after that one, and didnt make it through a 2nd time.. failing everytime at the final boss

My favorite dungeon run so far was a control-ish Big spell-ish mage deck with ton of freeze, removal and burn and with double battlecry and +3 spell damage passives. I actually managed to outcontrol The Darkness with his infinite free 5/5s and even had time to play the Dragoncaller Allana and Rin and get off Rin's effect and burn his deck.

I think the problem with dungeon runs counting towards the 3 wins for 10g is that you could just farm the early bosses easy then concede. Maybe something to do with high wins could reward a small amount of gold.

Having the +3 spell damage with mage is really insane and then pick all the burn spells

I got finished beating them all this morning and it is really great content, the only one that wasn't enjoyable for me was warrior. I just seemed to get crap cards and useless passives with that class. I also wish they had us pick from 3 10 card decks at the beginning instead of giving us all the same decks, it makes it hard to make a taunt warrior with no taunts to begin with or a big spell deck that has magic missile in it.

Was running a solid warlock deck, tons of early game demons, passive +1 cost to enemy minions and 3 free secrets for me to start the game, final boss hero power is mill 2 enemy cards for 0 mana. Mills malganis, jaraxxus, 1 mana spell that makes all my minions cost 0 mana for a turn...brutal loss.

I increased the cost of opponents cards by 3... beat it on my first try

The first run I beat was with rouge I had the new weapon and it was awesome at the end I got it to like 13 and 4 with lifesteal and poisonous

Even a small reward like.. 7th boss with 10g and Final boss worth 20g would be awesome.

Fun Fact if you pick both part of the blade of Quel´Delar they will become a 6/6 weapon wich deals 6 damage to every single enemy after your hero attacks.

I'll be dead honest. The dungeon run is the best thing added in a long time. Even though it dosent give nothing, it's wayyy more fun and interactive than arena.

Letting people do the 3 wins for 10 gold quest will just lead to people grinding the first encoubter 30 times a day. I think adding quests that require you to "defeat X number of bosses (as class Y)" would be better for the game. Or even just adding a daily/weekly _quest_ for getting a winning Dungeon Run.

I literally just downloaded the game for the Dungeon run and having heaps of fun with it.

I would play the mode if the wins counted towards quest completion.

The dungeon runs are more fun then actually playing Hearthstone on ladder, wild, arena, etc. IMO

When he said "8 bosses, one for each finger", I laughed harder than I should have.

I got to azari with mage and had gotten him down to fifteen life while I had +6 spell damage and a Rag out. My last card was a scroll that cast tree of life and restored him to full health

They could have had gold on their hands, but Blizzard's greed fucks it up as usual. You can't complete quests in dungeon runs, and you get zero rewards. What a waste. People will have a couple weeks of fun then forget it exists.

I won Trapped Room easily. I just pressed the end button and did nothing else. It has less cards than you so dies to fatique before you.

A bit of rewards (outside of 3 known quests) would be cool incentive to play dungeon runs, but even letting them count towards daily quests would be something useful.

I completed the whole thing and after 50 runs I ran into Bink the burglar for the first time.

Seeing Kripp get so lucky against the quest rogue really triggers me. Lucky stupid AI is op

Is the winning move for Trapped Room to literally do nothing and just remove his Arcanists? You win fatigue that way.

The system does need some sort of reward to work towards. A reward that actually means something. Even if the treasures themselves were real cards they could be legendaries so you'd only be able to play 1. We need something.

I've been playing NOTHING but dungeon run since it was open. 60 packs I got, I am sad to say, were dissapointing at best.

finally beat the dungeon with every hero, took less than 10 hours but i got lucky and beat my first dungeon run the first try :D 10/10 not worth it should have studied for finals

I'm loving the dungeon runs so far, nearly beaten it with all the classes now and nearly every run has felt different and interesting. But without a reward for doing it, nobody will be doing them anymore once you've cleared it with the classes. It has so much potetial to be something amazing, adding a small gold reward for clearing a bunch of bosses, even if it's like "Clear 1 dungeon run a day to earn 30 gold" or something, it needs to happen if they decide to continue with dungeons so people don't lose interest, and i really hope they do keep it rolling

Having completed all nine classes, I actually think more important than synergy is curve. If your deck is able to curve out well, you can just stop your opponent ever establishing a board presence, and by the time you reach the final boss you will almost definitely have at least one win condition in your deck. This is why Jade is so broken. It has synergy with almost all the passives, curves well without even having to pick from other card pools, and gives you a win condition which is just "play more Jades". As far as non-Jade classes go, look out for Saraad, Quests, Death Knights and the weapon treasure card to give you a win condition, and otherwise just try to pick whatever makes your deck curve well. I enjoy this game mode more than the multiplayer, think I might do some more runs just for the fun of it.

Paladin's justicar hero power and flag's +1/+1 can carry even if the rest of your powers and cards are terrible. 1 mana two 2/2s every turn minimum.

Ingame sound is way to low in the last videos - hard to watch this way.

Best thing I've seen on HS in a LOOOONNNNNGGGG time. The dungeon run is fantastic. They need rewards and it needs to be a permanent play type! The basic decks should change up for each class and new bosses with each expansion. THIS could give HS a much needed revitalization.

My best run was c'thun druid, double battle cry and minions cost 5 at most. Turns out playing a 10/10 or 14/14/ turn 5 and dealing 20-28 damage is preeeetty good. Filthiest combo I have seen was permastealth minions and double health mage, the guy then got enchanted armour so he was taking only 1 damage per hit, with 100 hp. Also I don't know if it's a glitch or not or if he only has targeted removal, but if you take the permastealth minions vs darkness he stops playing cards and only hero powers.

Where is Skipperino?

It should have a hardcore mode where you have to pay 100g to enter, the bosses are harder, but you get a reward chest at the end. Pretty much like arena.

The best dungeon combo is double health + wish ...... had a 200 health rouge yesterday , deckout intensifies.

I defeated the Darkness with an exodia paladin. I had my hero power cost 1 and Auctioner Berardo to pull off the otk, it felt so good!

Blizzard doesn't want people to exploit dungeons for quest rewards. Even brain dead monkeys can beat the first 2 encounters.

What I want to see is more dungeons added every expansion. Maybe one final boss and three minor bosses every expansion would be enough with a slight increase to find those bosses when those expansions come out similar to drafting cards in Arena. I hope they do not simply abandon this when the next expansion comes since it's common between expansions blizzard comes up with an idea and then abandons it.

the kobold king got the your minions cost zero card and played the minion, that replaces his hand with legendary minions on its second turn. 7 legendaries on board with 2 mana to kill them..

I was dealt a really nice Stealth Pirate Warrior that I was able to finish with.

Went double +3 Spell damage and played spell mage. The final boss I had an Archmage Antonidas and a Malygos on the board and my hand was full of 17 Damage Fireballs and 13 damage blizzards. Easiest final game ever.

I love seeing creep getting so involved in the game and just having fun.

Nothing beats shaman unstable evolution + passive spells cost (1) less. I cleared shaman on my first run with that and it is as crazy as it sounds.

Best thing to come out for HS for sure. Some of the sillyness is great. Beat dungeon run with totem shaman and stealth rogue. Both had The darkness as the final boss.

I won it 2 times once with rogue and once with priest and both was thanks to the passive "your minions that cost 5 or more cost 5" and 3 c'thuns and its buffs in each deck xD

I'm a fairly new player, been playing for a few months, and this new event is much more forgiving and fun than Frozen Throne's. Almost finished a run too but King Togle-whatsit pulled a fast one on me.

I just did a Mech Shaman with reduced Hero Power, +3 Spell Damage, and 2 Fire of Ragnaros... 18+ damage a shot, 6 times... that math is harder than that Dungeon Run.

My best/favourite Dungeon Run deck was a Priest that got Perma-Stealth along with stuff like Shadowfiend, Auchenai Soulpriest + Zombie Chow, Shadow Ascendant, Priest of the Feast etc. My final encounter with the Darkness ended with me Carnivorous Cubing a Priest of the Feast and then Anduining his Darkspawns, then having 6 heal every time I played a spell, coming back to 40~ health from the teens. Dungeon Run is a fantastic game mode and I hope Blizzard continue to add new dungeons every year.

The dungeon is fun, BUT it gives no reward, thus its IRRELEVANT.

I wish they give you gold and quests to do dungeon runs...

My best deck was a paladin with all heals. Crushed every boss not because my deck was good but because I got the double your health at the start of the game thing twice. At the end boss I had 200 health a shit ton of heals and I just fatigued him to death. It was he dragon boss to which can deal up to 6 damage at the start of the turn plus minions. Isn’t even drop below 60.

I played a lot of it just for fun and obviusly got bored. I hate first encounters, there are just three of them as I've seen, and after a couple of runs they feel like a waste of time. They could've made an ability to skip them - no rewards anyway. Or make starting deck random at least.

Easiest Dungeon Run: -Pick Mage -Take Double HP x2 -Take Reno -Don't take Duplicates -take Rod of Roasting Now you just have to wait until you have 10 mana and do Rod of Roasting, at the last 3 you should wait for Reno and then do Rod so that you have 4x the health of the Enemy.

Heroes of the storm , you get rewards for playing any mode same with wow, and overwatch and with SC and Diablo too? So why no rewards with Hearhstone dungeon run, just so stupid!

More than 3 years later and I've still only beat it with two classes, and one monster hunt and only a couple classes for the lich king. I literally sometimes try it 5 times a day nothing

I had a warlock deck with 5 mountain giants and 2 molten with the passive that reduces the mana of large minions to 5 mana. I beated the 8 boss at 5 mana
