That play at the end where you didn't Kodo the 2-1 and healed instead made absolutely no sense. You woulda had a 3-8 and a 6-6 the next turn. Brutal mistake for no reason lol.
i'm sure someone would have draft a 10x purify deck or more :D i mean i already had the chance for a 6 Whisp+ 3Magmarager +4 Icerager deck ... 13 times i could just choose between 2 cards not fair T.T
but then he could have buffed kodo +3 health and put his 6/6 on the board which would be enough to clear the volcanic lumberer while keeping kodo on the board. he could have then pushed for lethal with holy fire if the druid cleared the kodo with heropower. MISTAKE!!!
> Knows his last cards are Kodo and Enforcer. > Draws Kodo against his opponent's card with 2 attack. > Heals instead of playing Kodo, recovering the exact same health and completely losing the board. > Loses because he has no board presence because he played like shit. > "This guy's actually playing a deck I can get 12 wins with." No. No you couldn't.
While I agree that it would have made more sense to play the kodo and that kripp did misplay, I think we can also agree that he couldn't have won from that point anyway based on what we saw.
Please explain to me how in that scenario it was better to heal. Waiting for a better kodo target would be idiotic since he can't play the kodo and enforcer in one turn. He has nothing to gain by waiting and tempo to lose. Sure, he probably wasn't going to win anyway, but that doesn't mean he should make incorrect plays.
"I did the 100 in 10 again and got 105". No you didn't. Check the rules again or don't mention it. The Guy who made it clearly deserved it. We all know you're a good arena player. But there are people out there with equal skills. But if you got owned you never admit it - its always easier to say its just a sniper, right?
Don't be such a party pooper bro. He's previous mentioned that he doesn't follow any specific rules. Getting 100+ wins in 10 consecutive arena runs is a feat, rules or no rules.
He took classes he already using before - not legal in this Challenge. He didn't pronounced the Challenge before starting. He just got an insane Arena run going. That all has nothing to do with the "100 in 10" Challeng. So... congratz but don't call it an "100 in 10 and got 105". Because THATS Bullshit.
"It's a little early in the draft to pick shadow word horror, in this situation i suggest you pick shadow word horror" wtf? Guess there's still some bugs with that overlay thing
The whole text is even better... "this is a tough one. Normally I would pick "Light's champion, and ALTHOUGH (why although? grammar?) Shadow word : Horror has bad synergy with our deck, Light's champion could compensate for our lack of four drops [and it's a little too early (29/30 cards) to pick Shadow word : Horror]" (So at this point there is only negatives for Shadow word : Horror and positives for Light's champion.) "In this situation, i suggest you pick Shadow word : Horror" -> ok.

+MagmaRagerino Kripperino Dude, that's a gain of 9 points since Heartharena started! When Mage, Rogue, and Druid HPs get nerfed ;) you'll have so many more than Boogeymonsterino!
Nah I call b******t. Generally he overreacts, but basically that Hunter had a midrange constructed deck (Fiery Bat into Toad into Houndmaster into Tiger into Deadly Shot + beast 3 drop.. what?) he just skipped turn 3 but who cares, it's not like he was playing against a decent class anyway. I would have been salty as hell as well, that's as worse as it can get at 0-0
That 0-0 Hunter did not play a single bad card. Every single card he played was a Tier 1 Arena pick holy fucking shit. Apart from skipping 3 he literally did not have a turn that looked anything other than constructed
As a paladin I got beat by a priest in arena because he had Mechwarper, into harvest golem, into gorilla bot, into Foe Reaper 9000. Arena Mech Priest is the true unicorn priest
That first deck was insane, the only 2 cards in it that are not constructed viable were corrupted seer and north sea kraken and those are amazing in arena. that was by far the best hunter deck I've ever seen like wtf
I had my best arena run ever with priest, actually. I had the "play with your opponents deck" archetype, on account of me picking six thought steals and two mind visions. Went 6-3 back in TGT.
That app on drafting. 3:33 Last card to pick "it's a little early in the draft to pick shadow word: horror" and all together that description seems bit weird.
In Constructed, have you ever tried some sort of Priest "Battle Rage" combo with Shadowfiend, Wild Pyromancer, Emperor Thaurissan & Northshire Cleric (and Circle of Healing)? It's not really "good" but it has worked well in low ranked and fun with big health minions and Confuse+Crazed Alchemist combination (Divine Spirit a 1/8 Tournament Medic, 1/16, confuse, hilarious :D). Curious what people in comments think.
20:18 misplay? He could have Excavated Evil, Kodo'ed the 2-1, then temple enforered the kodo the following turn and finish up the Lumbered with Holy Fire? Am I missing something, I think I may be... Cheers!
so many people saying they did the 100 in 10 while using classes they have already chosen. I don't think anyone can argue it doesn't change results and makes it harder to achieve
Oh my god... can it be. Have I done it? Am I really first?...... I just want to thank my parents for never loving me and making me what i am today. And thank you too all of the kripparinos for being my insperation to achieve this
i feel his pain... yesterdays tavern brawl: mulligan'ed away the same 2 dead cards i couldn't play last game (doomcaller+c'thun), and got a doomcaller again. first round draw: doomcaller. that game was over at that point, because my curve as fucked beyong believe
The priest old gods deck recipe sucks ass as a concept. The idea is to heal your minions to keep them alive, without any heals that are very reliable AND flexible. And the curve of the deck just occurs to be crappy to me, compared to the other old gods deck recipes. That's in my experience of the brawl, haven't really looked at the full decklists yet.
tracking and sap should be preist cards. priest´s heropower should be to only heal him self and preist should have creature-cards that has the opposite of taunt, like cant be attacked (but they should be weaker) and spells like give a minion -5/-0 until next turn or minions cant attack next turn or more stuff like healingwell, like artifacts that gives the priest a divine shield or hexproof. Preist should be more of a stall class than a steal-class.
Unlike warrior, priest does not have weapons to gain tempo and with the current meta, minions need to be played on curve and there is no room for healing minions to incrementally gain advantage through the hero power, as most decks are midrange or faster. Priest needs a cheaper boardclear or the meta should slow down to make priest hero power have a bigger impact. As you noticed, when you do get to use your hero power on minions, you trade advantageously every time. Priest seems to be on the bad side of a very sharp edge, because not long ago, it was the class to counter mages in arena.
Considering the current situation of Priest, I'm kind of amazed that I've been playing this game for 3 years and my first ever 12 wins in Arena was with a Priest. Like, a month ago. When it was still the worst class. And my deck was below average, the only spell I had was Excavated Evil, everything else was a mix of low, average and high tier cards.
