Skill of choosing one card out of 3 based on the situation. Pretty easy. It also 75% of the time gives you a secondary win condition

+Edric Yeo (Spartan 117) play it turn 2 as pally. Go greedy with onxyia or faerie dragon? Play ethereal as Mage. Go for removal or intellect to dig for flame waker? Discover is probably the best skill wise mechanic in HS right now.

They are starting. Main reason they dont bother with balancing gvg(Terrible set from a randomness perspective). I wonder if, at some point, we see effects with more of a choice(Compare some hs cards to, say, Magic cards. Essentially same effects, just with Magic giving a ton of more options).

I hate that the adventures have to rotate out. LOE is such an important part of the game today, Finley is needed for most control decks, Reno created its own deck archetype, Pillager is the most important card for Rogue (arguably the weakest class atm), and the list goes on. And when BRM leaves, dragon decks will be next to impossible to ladder up with.

1/3 of Kripp's deck was solid turn 2 plays. Since he drew a hand of 3, mulled 2, and drew two cards by the beginning of his second turn, there was roughly a 0.0004% chance of not getting having a 2 mana card to play on turn 2. Never, ever lucky.

honestly, played dragon priest the whole day and i beat 80% of aggro warlocks and 100% of aggro shamans with my ultra coontrol dragon deck! i really didn't expect this, for the deck is really slow, but with aoe and my secret weapon (1 special priest 4-mana spell) it worked much better than i' had expected! rans 18-12, about 30 games until now.

This card is completely broken in my experiences with it. Especially for someone who doesn't have any of the dragon deck staples (Alex, Ysera, original Deathwing), I've yet to see less than 2 legendaries on each play, with Alex appearing EVERY time. Also works out great when I get Dragonlord, as all dragon decks that I play at the moment run N'Zoth, and bringing back TWO 12/12's with the great deathrattle effect has lead to many concedes for my opponents.

4 months in and before this card I almost never saw a dragon deck. Now (that I play against dragon decks) only my shaman deck seems to be viable. The ONLY conditon to get the (very powerful) dragon effects is if you have one dragon in your hand. Now this card shows up and let's you discover one so that you have one spare (and bc. the discover mechanic tends to favor the player there is almost no chance of having 3 bad options). Cathun Warrior/Aggro Shaman and Dragon Priest just works too well.

You can't counter Aggro Decks? Wow, L2P! x_X There are just a few real aggro decks in this meta at the moment. Most of the popular decks are mainly midrange (or tempo) decks.

I love this card! I've only played a couple games with it, but I've gotten Deathwing, Ysera, and Alexstrazsa from it! It might not be amazing, but it's pretty fun, which is pretty important.

In Arena if you have 3+ dragons you might as well insert this card in. I've seen both Deathwings, Onxyia, Ysera, and Nozdormu played. And you know you're always tilting if you get a Deathwing against you.

Cards that have good effects arent supposed to have equally good stats for their mana costs, that would be stupid and frankly it is because Blizzard has done this with alot of cards, give them good stats and good effects for a more than fair mana cost. Piloted Shredder is a perfect example of this. But this card, being a 1/3 and being able to fetch a free dragon for 2 mana? Thats pretty amazing but all you see is the early trade offs and often give up by turn 3-4 if things dont go your way. These types of cards are to set up your further turns and arent used for their stats.

I had an amazing arena run with this card since I managed to draft enough dragons to always activate the effect. As you can see in the screenshot the deck in general had some really high quality cards and a good curve which made it an easy twelve win deck :) I never had that much fun in arena (there were some awesome comebacks with Ysera and a Alexstrasza/Ice Block combo against a Hunter xD). prnt.sc/cdtknf

Really love this card! Got this in my paladin arena yesterday with 2 dragons. I played it at least 6 times, and always with the effect, get 3 times Onyxia and went 12-0 for the first time! One of the mvp of the deck and the day after you make a video about it!

10:08 26 is enough. You draw one card at the start of your first turn (wouldn't be able to play a 2 drop), you draw another card your second turn (5 cards in hand, so 26 is enough). If you have the coin, you start with one more card, so you'd have 5 cards in hand on turn 1 and could coin out a two drop (and know you can play another two drop the turn after 100%).

yes. :D i love this card! i made somewhat midrange dragon priest and this was suposed to fetch me late game if i needed. and i was playing against yogg druid. and he was playing really slow, taking time on his turns so i took nozdormu. lost him a turn. punished by watching kripp prolly, haha.

I dont speak english so idk what u say in this video. A 1/3 for 2 mana crystal is bad, but discover a dragon is too god for one reason, a lot of dragons are legendarys or with great value. Sorry for this trash english.

I think one of the problems in countering aggro is that there is a health cap. Only warrior can consistently go above the 30 health cap with armor. In MTG there is no health cap and you can restore life to any imaginable number.

With the two drops 25 is the answer. after mulligan stage you can redraw 3. so worst case 3 non-two drops, send all back, draw 2 non two drops and one two drop.

Technically it's 26 two drops not 27 since you draw one at the beginning of your turn, whether you go first or second.

Dragon Paladin have gotten much better in the early game due to the two Netherspite cards, it turns the usual late game into a deck that can kill early or late depending on the hand, even out aggroed an aggro Shaman at one point

Should not be too hard to construct a Paladin or Shaman deck which wins 80% of matches against aggro. This deck would do miserably against mid range, combo and control though. And BTW there is not one deck (archetype) which beats all others, that's the beauty of Hearthstone. Although it is sad that creative deckbuilding is so severely limited by the tempo and agression meta. Having players start with 40 or 50 health would make a lot of creative decks viable, but also mean matches would tend to last very long and often be decided by fatigue.

"how many 2 drops do I need to ensure I get a 2 drop?" you said 27. that is actually not correct. cos if you have 3 non-2 drops, one of them could be Prince Malchazar, who will give you 5 legendaries, most probably non-2 drops. so to ensure that you get a 2drop on turn 2, 30 is the correct answer. (yes, I am fun at parties)
