Yes, playing Gul'Dan first strengthens N'Zoth, but it also works the other way around. In general your Voidlord-Voidwalker ratio is close to one in three, however when N'Zoth fills your board, people often kill Voidlord first to deny 1 or 2 Voidwalkers. This improves your ratio and makes Gul'Dan more likely to summon Voidlords.

I double this. Honestly I like cube version more, but still, control warlock is also a good and interesting deck.

It's a card game, every deck is based around getting the good draws at the right time. If you can't deal with the rng, then maybe hearthstone or any other tcg isn't for you.

Of course, every deck is affected by draw rng, but some of them (specifically those that win or lose during first 5 turns) are much more draw-rng dependant, because you have less turns to draw and early game tempo is super important, and they also tend to have very little decision-making involved because in most cases the play that gives you the most tempo (which is usually easily calculated) is the right play (with few exceptions, for example old quest rogue which required pilot to do a lot of decisions despite being quite fast).

I haven't played since TGT, I actually started rewatching Kripp a while *after* I purged all the hearthstone players from my subscriptions because I didn't get any entertainment out of them, Kripp is just that damn good.

I stop playing hs since blizzard stop giving out adventures. Prefer to spend golds for fixed cards from adventures than gambling my poor rng for 4commons+1rare every packs. Still watching kripp kibler firebat savj for my daily hs video tho

2011carp umbra need setup, also susceptible to removals, also with voidlord ,umbra is bad cause umbra drastically increases chance of voidwalkers. His best play would be bait nethers, guldan then nzoth as it increases chance of summoning many voidlords

Dark Paradise out of curiosity, what decks can counter control lock? Seems like the other control decks from the other classes just can’t beat it cus of the dk value, and aggro obviously can’t win now.

You'd be surprised. I think the worst matchups for my type of control-lock are decks that simply outvalue my cards. I got obliterated by a quest rogue, because their deck was full of 1 drops that returned to their hand. So I was spending much more mana per minion and had way less board control. Infinite Jade druid with a Gadgetzan Auctioneer is also a tough matchup. I lost to an exodia mage because I couldn't kill them fast enough. And I've even lost to Priest, who steals your big demons then kills them, so Bloodreaver won't resummon them. That sounds like a lot, but not everybody is playing those decks, and I almost never face these decks. I think control-lock can handle almost every deck. Kripp has better cards than I do, but I do have some very important legendary and epic minions in my Warlock deck. The main concern for me in a Warlock deck is balancing your health. I have 9 different cards in my deck that can heal me up. I have plenty of taunts. I have plenty of removal, and I have plenty of minion value. I don't need card draw, since my hero power always takes care of that, but your hero power also slowly kills you. You HAVE to have removal and you HAVE to have healing in a good control Warlock. I prefer having a solid amount of taunts to reduce the amount of times you get smacked in the face, but it's not required necessarily as long as you have a strong board presence. I have spent a lot of time perfecting my Warlock deck, and I think it's pretty solid. One thing I have that no one else puts in their deck is the Kobold Monk. It's a lifesaver against Mage. It's a 4 mana 3/6 that makes your hero untargetable by spells or hero powers. I also run MC Tech, but only because it's solid value and it can help win back a tough board. I only keep one Sacificial Pact in case I need to heal, but mostly in the rare situation you face Jaraxxus. I think the key to a good control deck is value minions and tech. Also, you mentioned DK value. The only DK decks I struggle against are silence hunter and elemental Jaina. Of course Infinite Kingsbane DK Rogue is seemingly unstoppable as well, but a high attack lifesteal weapon that always goes in your deck is only a little OP. Only a little. Yeah, so control-lock loses to ridiculous OTK or Quest decks, but I haven't lost to a single aggro deck with the rare Murloc Shaman who draws perfect and I only have my big drops. That's it though

geniue decks that beat control warlock: Priest. Any priest deck beats control warlock. Big priest and especially big spell priest. Mage: secret Mage obliterates control warlock. The burn draw from aluneth is too much for control warlocks to handle, because warlocks keep taking damage from there cards Druid: jade Druid has always beat control decks. Rogue: miracle rogue and quest rogue beat it really easily. Also quest Mage can beat it easily and big spell Mage can beat warlock, but the match up is 50/50. There are decks, it's just most players play aggro decks to climb faster, so they lose to control decks, hence why they complain so much.

intersting, thanks man! I've been buliding a steal priest deck thats favoured against control decks but weak to aggro, so for now im playing a semi secret/midrange hunter deck to climb labber now at lower ranks

Cubelock is a combo deck, so it's job is to bring 7 doomguards and just kill you with those This deck is a grinding control Deck, that's used to exhaust all resources, and fatigue you with Rin, and outvalue you with NZoth, Guldan and void lords. Both are strong decks that have different match ups. Calling the deck weak, because it loses match ups that cubelock wins just shows how much you don't know about the deck.
