It isn't unheard of that someone disconnect during a long game. Plus it wasn't a bad game, so conceding when there is lethal on board just make the game end faster.

usually if opponent enjoys a long game they don't concede but wait until all is done. he seemed pissed that he got out-fatigued

No, hero cards are awful from a design perspective. Often, particularly in control mirror matches, they are completely unbeatable by any card except themselves. Control Mage vs Control Mage? If one player draws Jaina and one doesn't, the player who didn't draw Jaina can't win. Raza Priest vs Raza Priest? The player who didn't draw Anduin (or drew Anduin much later) has no chance of winning. Control Warlock vs Control Warlock? If one player draws Gul'Dan and the other doesn't, the player who didn't draw Gul'Dan can't win. That's a clear sign of a badly designed card: in mirror matches, it has zero counterplay except to play the card first. That's just awful.

+drunyon214 Actually, that just means those decks heavily rely upon that one card. A good deck does not rely on a single card to win. Look at Cubelock: Guldan helps them win, but in mirror matches, drawing it does not decide victory. Heck, it might even lose you the game! ("Guldan? Noooooo! I don't want him! I need my Dark Pact to survive!") The Hero Cards, while powerful, are unable to be the basis of a deck. Razakus needs the Hero, but Raza is just as important. Control Mage relies mostly on Ice Block to keep them alive, but FM Jaina helps with survivability. Cubelock only uses the Hero to bring back powerful demon, heck, the deck's main strat is to OTK the opponent! Also, mirror matches are a special case. Hearthstone developers are aiming for a Rock-Paper-Scissors setup. In that case, wouldn't you complain about mirror matches? "Rock can never beat Rock! This is a badly designed ability!" Hearthstone devs probably only care that there is always a deck to counter another one, mirror matches are a special case.

They're going to fix that for the March update. Anyways it's total BS that Kibler falls from Legend to rank 16. I mean what even is this game. I feel sad for all the regular rank 16s who fought their way back from 20 just to get ass-fisted by Kibler himself.

Well that's in the beginning of a season anyway. Since legend players get back to these ranks they have to climb back up from there so in the beginning of a season you may get slaughtered but eventually you'll get less of those. You may still encounter these players because some start later than others; In these ranks you might meet me though, and probably more like me with an history of huge misplays so all hope is not lost :) Thankfully the new season system will fix that

That is not really the case. Some do others don't. If you watch Kibler he usually gets back up to legend around the 20th in the month. With a reset each month I doubt anyone (besides pros who do it for a living) do it in less than 10 days. At the very least you'd spend half the season climbing. Not to mention have to constantly adapt your deck because the meta isn't the same across ranks.

At the end of every month your rank is set back to 25 so you have to fight trough the lower ranks if you belong higher. But they have announced chanches for this so it will be fixed soon

Nico value/fatigue game, it's about a race so you'd rather save cards and actions to damage the enemy board or hero; killing it off would waste a HP and it allows the egg to be buffed/ be used for a sticky minion after a clear that's what the eggs are good at, making it more annoying for the enemy to clear the board with like, a wild pyromancer equality. When the game stretches this way you wanna optimize your attacks and turns to win the fatigue race
