"You merely adopted the yog, I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't know determinism until I was already a dragon lord, by then it was nothing to me but boring!"
Shame Blizzard has made it ethically questionable to continue to support their company. I feel bad for the streamers, they didn't have any say in this decision, but I can't imagine the ban + tournament firings + winnings payout welch are going to leave a great taste in their mouths either.
@@Icanttstop @Cashh Boyy In addition, Blizzard has banned people for doing the okay hand sign, bullied people for their beliefs, and generally disrespected their audience. About the only thing I can say that may have caused these changes, was the merger with Activision. However, this does not excuse their totalitarian actions.
Really, Activision Blizzard hasn't done anything else in the past, that made you think about whether or not you want to support them? Now, I'm not exactly in support of the Chinese government, but Blizzard acting the way the have recently is nothing new. They're doing this, because any other course of action would cost them a ton of money, and if you've followed the industry news at all in the past several years, you'd know that greed is the #1 driving force behind any action a publisher the size of Activision Blizzard takes.
Blizzard is a disgrace for banning a player for having an opinion and firing the casters for no reason. Pointing out China's human rights violations should not be a banable offense.
@@MrStealthWarrior Why? Because I doubt people would notice any other time of the week. Politics has to intrude into people's lives for them to care, otherwise nothing would ever change.
It has no place in a videogame. It's more than understandable for Blizzard, as a company, to want to not have his brand associated with any political ideology.
@@luisurdiales3091 just because he is a protestor doesnt mean he brings political stuff to their games. That's his personal life, doesnt have anything to do with the game
Allan Lara Barros Blizzard banned a recent tournament champion for competing for a year and refused to give him his tournament prize money because he supported the Hong Kong resistance movement in his after game speech. Most people are opposed to this move on their part as the people of HK are fighting against a corrupt communist government.
Khasidon blizzard is trying to not get their game censored/banned from China where a significant portion of their annual hearthstone income comes from as much as everyone wants to believe companies can’t run on happy thoughts and dreams
Yeah because a big tournament from a gaming company is definitly the place to make political statements. Especially if their rules make it quite clear its not.
@@Kr4zYm0f0 Yeah I get why blitzchung got removed from the tourney and stuff but still wondering why the casters tho and btw just saying free blitzchung because he's just one of my favorite players but I still understand why he got removed
@@Howaruma nope , clearly u dont understand chinese so let me explain . Blitz himself wanted to say just 8 words after the interview and the casters were clearly flustered when he pulled out the gas mask but after he said Freehongkong the casters said that he deserved to say whatever he want because it was a beautifully played match and it will be a waste to not let the player speak
Hey Kibler, I think at this crucial time for the game and the company behind it, it is your duty to make some form of statement regarding Blizzard's treatment of the Hong Kong situation. Voices like yours are incredibly important.
If he does that, Blizzard might treat him the same way and he will lose everything. If you have a family to sustain, you cannot afford to take risks like that without a backup plan.
Her deck reminds me of my Phaoris priest deck. Just staving off death and then spending a turn showing off a full board of 9-10 drops just to die right after.
Just wanted to say thank you for your statement on blizzard actions against blitzchung. It’s brave and I believe you did right thing. Wish you good luck and happy life! :)
If the fireball didn't get countered early... She should check counterspell by something else... But - who could predict that there will be Calesgos on the field after, right?) Meme game
I know Kibler uses games from days ago to upload to RU-vid so I'm not expecting anything Hong Kong related. I would like to know Kibler's stance on the matter and I would take silence as a show of support of winnie the pooh.
I disagree. As a streamer and popular Hearthstone caster, his income is dependent on the game and Blizzard. He can't just quit Hearthstone. His actions over the next few days will greatly determine his entire streaming career and financial situation. So let's give Kibler some time to think about how he pursues this issue.
Hi Kibler. I am not a subscriber, but I watch your YT highlights each day for HS and sometimes omni. For the foreseeable future, I will no longer do so due to the situation in the east. stay happy.
I’m thinking they split. Look how small that camera is too, not showing nearly as much as before. Plus compare to older videos he always has a ring on, last few months no ring.
What a ride - a classic transition where our hero becomes the villain, and the villain becomes the hero of the story. Gotta be honest, I was kind of hoping that she pulled the win off by the end. #respects
Kibler pls make a reaction video to what happened during the grandmastera chinese stream, blizzard banning and punishing both the casters and the pro player
Is he climbing with this deck? I guess not, because I don't believe it's possible to climb to rank 1 and then Legend with this deck. Someone who watches him regularly in twitch climbing can confirm this or refutate?
Thanks Kibler for all the years of great content. I will not play Hearthstone anymore unless they undo what they did to the Hong Kong player. Therefore I will not watch any more HS content. I do wish you the best in this situation.
I won't be watching any more of your Hearthstone videos due to the actions of Blizzard with respect to Hong Kong, even though they used to be a daily routine for me for the last two years.
Harri Turunen It literally has no impact on them. You’re taking some weird moral high ground on something you have absolutely no knowledge about. In the end I’m sure Kibler doesn’t give a shit about some jabroni that isn’t going to watch him anymore but it’s so shocking how bent up people are about this to the wrong people.
Bring back Blitzchung (search this name if you’re out of the loop). American companies like Blizzard cannot bow under Chinese censorship just because their pockets are in the company.
Brian, I played SC:BW, WC3 and many other Blizzard games as a kid, and loved all of them. Blizzard is simply in my opinion one of the greatest game creators of all time, but have been very sad to see where they have been going in the past few years. I've been watching your videos on youtube more or less regularly for several years, sometimes every day. Watching all the HS content, from highlights to card reveals/reviews here and on the omni/-channel, have been really great. But I have to beg of you to please reconsider your partnership with Blizzard. What has happened is not OK, and if they don't change their stance in this issue I will never play any of Blizzards games ever again, and I would like you to do the same. It was the last straw, and I have to vote with my wallet. Having policies to keep interviews apolitical is one thing. But reacting the way Blizzard did, essentially setting an example for other competitors around the world to see, is completely unacceptable. I understand that HS is key to your finances; it's a very "streamable" game, and it's through HS that you have garnered a lot of your success. But I think in the end that your audience, and not the specific games you play, is most important to your streaming career. If the issue is not resolved on Blizzards side I will not watch any more of your HS videos, but hopefully that won't be a problem if you stream games from other gaming companies. I hope that this all sorts itself out, and I wish you all the best. /Axel
Hey Kibler I love your content but i am sure you didnt miss the controversy around blizzard and their actions against the hong kong movement. could you stop playing hearthstone (atleast for a while) to support the cause? I want to keep watching your videos but would feel alot better if they werent supporting a blizzard game
Unsubscribing unless you're playing non-Blizzard games, such as Magic. I'll be watching out for them so I hope you make the switch away from Blizz. Till then, bye Felicia.
RicFlairSaysWOOO Dyed in the wool capitialist pointing out flagrant hypocrisy. Maybe you should dump your smartphone and stop posting on the internet because both are based on Chinese products since you care so much. You won’t because, at best, you are an armchair activist, outraged only for internet points.
