As usual Kolento's plays are very intresting and well calculated. For example antonidas on turn 7 against the druid was a strange play but it brought him to victory

Yeah, but he said "well played" a whole turn before testing the secret, so it does seem overconfident.

+redarrowhead2 I'm having a hard time trying to figure out whether he was trying to pretend he had lethal in his hand, or just went full huntard. Who knows, maybe he thought he could just bluff his way out of that one? Either that or this really was his first time playing against freeze mage.

why at minute 29.30 he didnt antonidas + ice block to get fireball? or frost nova with antonidas... that was the only way to win in my opinon...

I think the play at 29:54 is a bit weak. very vulnerable to doomguard. If you just ice barriered, you'd probably survive to the next turn with block still up. Then you could archmage frostbolt, ice lance, putting opponent at 8 health with 2 fireballs in hand. He'd need exactly kezan to win from there. Edit: Oh my gosh, I just saw that he had jaraxxus in hand... Not that you should play around that, I think my play is still correct since jaraxxus is not a good card in zoo and I've honestly never seen it played at the higher ranks.

+ktktktktktktkt Then, at 31:27, I'm not sure since I don't remember what cards are left in the deck, it might be correct to set up lethal with frostbolt + ping since there is a pyroblast in deck. Kolento might be right here though since I'm not sure what the other possible draws were and he could've been maximizing his chances.

+ktktktktktktkt If you do that, then your opponent just needs to put down 2 minions on the board to proc the iceblock. Juggles doesn't proc ice barrier. He could even put down only one minion and mortal coil or dark bomb his 2/4 to summon an imp.

Waythroughway zoo doesn't run coil or dark bomb generally but you're right about the juggles. also ***** , i finished top 50 just last season lol.

I am currently rank 7. So uhm no. After another 4 hours of playing i faced a total of 9 Priests today and only 1 of them did not run at least 1 pain.

+DuSz not a single viable decklist runs 2 copies of both. no matter what you claim your rank is. 2x death can happen, 2x pain is stupid.

I see pain rarely as replacement for smite when control priest doesnt have voljin but running pain in dragon praist is completely stupid.

priest don't have a response to a doomsayer? Every time i play a priest around rank 7 the doomsayer gets pained.....literally every time, i guess we are playing different priests

I was gonna run a priest deck because I got many good cards from packs but I suck so hard as the priest probably 30-40% win rate as priest. So I bought 5 classic packs and I had enough for a legendary. Ima Disenchant my priest cards so I can run a freeze Mage, should I buy Epics/rares or get Dr.Boom or Antinidas Immediately? I see different builds are different and some have one or both

Dont get boom as freeze mage. Antonidas, Alex and Emperor are the core. You can replace Blodmage until you have enough for him

is freezemage good? it seems pretty weak against aggro decks

+Manson Lim It does surprisingly well against some aggro decks, provided you mulligan for removal and freeze. However, Face Hunter is tough when not having the right cards in hand considering how effecient and quick its curve usually is. Its hardest matchups are control warrior and mill decks, but Freeze mage is quite good against most midrange decks, oil rogue, and Zoo.

+Manson Lim Its actually really good against aggro, if they dont kill you on turn 5 or so, since many aggro decks cut the silence so fronst nova doomsayer is a really good clear against them.

Freeze mage is a tier 1 deck, so one of the very best. But it's quite expensive and takes a lot of skill and experience with it to play.
