In my best arena run, I went 0-3 as a Mage. I had no fireballs or flamestrikes or anything of that nature. The first guy had Dr. Boom. The second had Kel'Thusad. The third had a Sniper Rag.
honestly, at this point I don't even know what makes a 12 win deck. Not too long ago, I randomly drafted Warrior and went 12-1, utterly crushing all opponents, including many Rogues. But how much of that was luck? Did I somehow play better? Unlikely, since I went 3-3 right after. You don't need insane cards, you just need to be "present in the moment", that is have cards that can respond at the right time. Fiery War Axe is a great example of a card that wins arena games, and having it when you need it will make a massive difference. Sometimes, not playing around threats that might obliterate you (flamestrike, etc..) can lead to victory, even if it might be considered a "bad" play. Bad plays sometimes win, good ones sometimes lose. It's a matter of odds. So best advice is this - play the odds in your favor, and you should generally do well. But you will still experience utter annihilation every now and then, through no fault of your own. Brace yourself for the hard times, and march onward. Everybody gets 12 wins sometimes, and everybody goes 0-3 sometimes (Krip showed us just that), and there might not even be noticeable differences in the level of play. If all else fails, Pray to RNJesus!
+The Fuzzician Back when I'd just started Hearthstone, I was somehow at 20 total wins with a lightforge key and no idea how I managed to go 11-0 (12-2) to get it on EU. I've only ever gotten 12 wins once since the first time.

I have never gone 12-0, but a friend whom I sometimes help in arena runs did a 12-0 while I was watching him, with an average Paladin deck (before TGT). I was confused, until I realized that not a single Flamestrike was played against him. Although, he DID pray to RNJesus before we started, so that might have explained things.
The minion's original stats are 1/1, but it got buffed to a 2/2 by stormwind champion. So when you reversing switch it, it set the minion's base stats at 2/2, then it received the +1/+1 buff from stormwind champion. Basically, reversing a minion's attack and health will take any buffed stats and set them as the base stat of what it gets swapped into.
+Kevin Zong if u switch a minion's atk/hp while they are under the effect of an aura, the aura reapplies itself a second time. aka stats from first application become permanent cos physics
+ankhi3 RNG is a better strat. Find your luckiest friend and ask them to donate you some RNG, that's what I do when I'm bored of 4 commons and a rare in packs.
+Irving Rodríguez When you swap stats, those stats become permanent. If you swap +1/+1 then that 1+/+1 is added to the minion until death or silence. After that, Stormwind Champion still gives +1/+1. It's kinda tricky but makes sense. Is like swaping attack and health and then silence a minion to restore his full health. This happens this way because all the things in Hearstone are resolved "in steps". That's why a pally don't die if the True Silver Champion heals him "back to life" (because it heals before taking damage) but Zombi Chow can't bring the opponent back to life (since the damage is taken before and that step is resolved before). If two steps are resolved at the same time, then you don't die then neither (is the case of the TrueSilver I think).
Stormwind knight gives +1, +1, health is added not subtracted, health gets swapped into an attack of 2 and buffed to 3, same story with attack to health.
+Irving Rodríguez when a 1/1 minion is buffed by Stormwind Champ, it has 2/2 "virtual stats". The reversing switch swaps those values with the buff, so the base stats become 2/2 permanently. So you end up with a 3/3 on board in the Stormwind aura
Yesterday I installed Hearthstone again, after not playing it since September, and decided to do an Arena Run: Pick Mage. No Frostbolt, no Flamecannon, no Flamestrike or any other board clear and only one Fireball. But wait, *4* *Piloted* *Shredders*? Easy 12 wins. Glad to see that the game hasn't changed at all. The same OP cards are still broken...
I like how he claims to not be full of himself then proceeds to say how stupid/dumb his opponent's are or their plays are, not knowing what they have in their hand and asking how they got to so many wins.

lol killing zombie chow first doesnt make no sense, it's incase you heal it back up, which is possible. Since he can kill the pit snake anyway next turn. If i were to ensure a 2/2 minion on board to die than like 4 health, i would choose the first.
I got a 12-0 too recently with pala (sorry) and i have a curve nearly close. For it I got murloc knight, argus, uldaman, etc.. But it seems that rogue (which I play very often too) needs impact late, such as kraken and argent...
Millions of people play Hearthstone. Most of these people have never heard of you. Quit acting like everyone is sniping the uber famous Kripparian. Even at 11-0 it's very unlikely and usually just in your head.
Great start of the day going 3-3 in arena playing against 6 people with perfect drafts, perfect draws and perfect RNGs while listening to Kripp cry over going 12 wins by getting ridiculous topdecks and getting the game thrown at him a couple of times.
I'm not going to lie, I didn't expect to go into this random Kripp video and have my Beast Wars nostalgia triggered. Everyone I know drools over Pokemon but man I had a robot who could turn into a Gorilla I didn't need no Charizard.
Kripp started talking about having transformers when he was younger, so I started thinking to myself maybe he's about my age and then he says Beast Wars. Nope not my age at all. Also, early games were difficult but late game wins were ez peasy. I don't get it.
Summary of my last arena run. First game was against a paladin that had 2 mini bots two musters two swords of justice and kings with two consecrates. He rolled over me. The next game was a warrior that played varien wrynn which drew out a fucking ysera that became unkillable for me as I had no removal. Last game was against a rogue whose deck was almost a walking copy of an oil rogue with two deadly poisons several blade flurries and oil and pirates that benefitted from his weapon damage. This is why I don't do arena.
Hey Kripp, really like your vids. I just find them to be a little quiet, I always have to turn up my laptop or youtube audio compared to other vids. Both in-game sound and your voice is quiet
Beast Wars was cool. I mostly had Predacons because they were mostly all insects and dinosaurs. My favorites were Megatron and some Maximal Megazord thing.
The only issue i have with this video is for making fun the paladin in 10-0 for not having muster on turn 3...so many times even in constructed u muligan ur entire hand to find 1 card and u still dont get it....its not his fault for topdecking back to back muster last 2 turns....
Enjoyed watching this, a lot of thorough play-explaining. I know it isn't uncommon but for some reason this seemed a lot more educational than a lot of his arena runs. An interesting look at a 12-win run.
Between matches you throw up a title and sometimes I miss it cause it blends in a bit. any chance you could add a black background to the title just to make it more obvious? love your videos Krip, keep 'em coming!
I felt like I got a deck just like this I went 9-3 but the guy that was 9-2 had dr boom and 2 FONs and 3 savage roars and so I thought I could go late game but he pulled 2 combos in the last 2 turns to make me lose but 9-3 was pretty good I thought
The best arena runs are the ones where you have shit cards but they have really good synergy together I remember one arena draft I made a hobgoblin deck it was nuts and got me to 10-3 sadly mad bomber and madder bomber rng me out of the game it's not like Paladins are op or anything they need extra rng to be on there side and mc tech dr.boom Reno no they need good rng as well and to be buffed as a class sry if I sound salty but it was a real good arena run especially for a deck that has low quality cards that got so many wins to be rng'd out of the game I cry everytiem. But yeah that was the most awesome arena draft I've had (this year)
I'm sitting here with a hunter deck with emporer, 2 dr. Boom and pretty decent early game deck at 1/2. I'm scared to play and lose another game to some super aggro paladin :(
Last night I had an arena run ended up going 3-3 so I tied with my best. I was playing paladin and had a grand crusader, first time I use it I get Tirion (Can't spell) and end up winning. :D
So when an opponent makes a good play, it was RNG and when Kripp makes a good play, it was all skill? And he wonder's why people hate on him and laugh at him....rofl
Not to be the bummer of the comment section, but your grandparents aren't gonna be around forever, I'd enjoy the little bit of stuff they give you even if it's a call while you can matey.

At min 9:50 he could have kill the egg with his weapon, pop the spell into the 4/3 killing the nerubian and finally trade the shradder ... clean table !
the reason i never pick rough(again) even if its a top tier arena class in 10 rough round i draftet 3 heals and 2 of them where the 3 mana 3/3 restore 3 health ... its not like dont pick them i dont even get to choose them
+MrEvanBrisco This video was alright, not I don't prefer these. There are plenty of RU-vidrs (trump, thijs, kibler, noxious, etc.) which just upload pure, sometimes unedited gameplay. Kripp's the only one that I know (if you know any others please tell) that actually talks about the game, and he should stay that way. Kripp skippers can easily find RU-vidrs that make videos like kripp's but without the talk, but kripp watchers have no alternatives.
+dick butt Yet despite his unique talks, there is channel dedicated to posting the time that the gameplay starts which typically receives the highest liked comment on each of his videos. I like the prior talks as well but I believe his audience sadly doesn't.
+dick butt I also prefer the talks to be honest. I do like watching Kripp play, and I love how much he talks and explains his decisions, but the reviews and such are the main reason I'm subbed. Nice to know that other people appreciate it as well :) Of course, there's always Skipperino for those who don't, which is also fine.
