Moat lurker doesn't say enemy minion. So for example if you use it to kill your own Sylvanas you get the mindcontrol and a new sylvanas when lurker dies, amirite? Amiwrong?

Arcane Giant in Yogg decks PogChamp

I'm calling it now, the card Kripp is most wrong about is Violet Illusionist. That things going to be enormous. Especially in Warlock.

Moat lurker has interesting applications. Can save your important minions from board clears/removal. Or can save your whole (probably frozen) board from a freeze mage doomsayer.

Regarding the Maelstrom Portal power creep, we sort of saw this in reverse with Dark Bomb and Frost Bolt.

Does Violet Illusionist and that weapon that has unlimied attacks work?

Moat lurker can be INSANE in N'Zoth decks if you target your own deathrattle minion, as the minion you target will trigger the deathratle twice, will revive twice, and this minion will revive as well. I'm uncertain if when brought back and re-killed will summon the minion again, but even if it doesn't, it will still be amazing instead of simply broken. I guess we'll have to see.

On the topic of Arcane Explosion, Kobolt Geomancer and Arcane Explosion was an amazing combo in the Two-Card Tavern Brawl.

I feel that Violet Illusionist will see some good play with Weapon Warrior, Fatigue Warrior, and some Warlock decks. Also, Moat Lurker could have some fun (e.g. Protecting a special minion)

First time we see direct power creep over a class card? What? It's happened a bunch of times before, for example: Holy Smite -> Living Roots Mark of the Wild -> Mark of Y'Shaarj

Um Kripp? Have you thought about the rotation AT ALL? Aggro Shaman will be DEAD after BRM, TGT, and LOE rotate out. Shaman will have to figure out how to use these slower cards just to survive. Try looking a bit further ahead in your next review.

the minion Pantry Spider summons is also a 3 mana cost minion, so it could possibly give evolve shaman a boost

Pretty pleased with what some of these cards do for my totem evolve deck. Just not sure what to switch out.

tldr: One Night In Karazhan cards basically all suck. Don't use real money to buy.

Regarding Maelstrom portal, it's not the first time there's a powercreep between two classes, Recycle for Druid and Entomb for Priest.

Avian Watcher fits into Freeze Mage. When the Condition is met it's kinda like a Sludge Belcher. Freeze Mages did run Sludge Blecher right?

moat lurker is pretty good to trigger your own deathrattle and get your minion back to full afterwards.. it may have some use for enemey minions but that shurely not the intend when they specific make it 6 mana so its hard to combo with sylvanas

When you summon a copy of a minion it will take the stats the minion currently has right? So if it's damaged or weakened by a spell it takes the nerfed stats?

Violet illusionist will see play in almost all fatigue decks and shud combo nicely with fools and as well as being a must have for non zoo warlock dex tho it might even see play there (I doubt it)

Genuinely curious, why the negativity of Nightbane templar, I mean it adds more minions to the board follows the paladin's curve on four and you get 4/5 for three mana. It allows paladin to confidently flood the board which they never could do after standard's rotation. It significantly helps out dragon paladin.

violet illusionist works very well with multi-hit weapons (shaman) and also the new karazan multi-hit warrior weapon

ironforg portal seems similar to shieldmaiden to me. Shieldmaiden and that 7 mana 10 armor cthun guy are pretty good, so might be this portal?

The powercreep over a classcard i totally wrong - Revenge from Warrior was released earlier and is also obviously stonger than arcane explosion aswell

Kripp the shaman portal is not the first power creep on a class card, Quick Shot creeped over dark bomb and there are several in just the basic set such as fireball and mortal strike

Swashburgler being a battle cry is also good for a deathrattle + steal class cards deck. Because Huckster is a deathrattle on a 2/2, you're happy to pull it with nzoth, but a 1/1 you wouldn't want to pull (since your deck should be saturated enough with high-value deathrattle minions)

Can you target the stranglethorn tiger? I'm not sure if I've ever attempted a target spell on a friendly stealth minion before.

Hey. Do you choose which minion you will summon with onyx bishop? Or is it just bad wording? What I mean is that ressurect says "summon a RANDOM friendly minion..." and onyx bishop says "summon a friendly minion..."

Moat lurker on Sylvanas? Seems clunky with the 6 cost but it would be a neat combo maybe.

Imma try a moat lurker N'zoth deck, using sylvanas and so on and being able to summon them 4 times in a single game potentially extremely good value

you can actually use moat lurker in some VERY interesting ways , you couldhave it destroy stuff and then bring it back to your hand with shadowstep , since it didn't die your oppnent wont get their minion back , you can also use it on your own minions like sylvanas or maybe rhonin ... whatever deathrattle effects the kids are in these days maybe have the thing that give you 1/1 copies of the card use it on lurker so you have a lot of (short lasting) removal ... kind of like a freeze

I think Arcane Anomaly (15:27) might actually kind of sort of a little work in Priest in Arena. If you happen to go second and play this, Coin and PW:Shield, you'll have a 2/5 on turn 1 with the potential to get even bigger. Then again, Priest got Purify...

Priest of the Feast seems like a great card to me, same stats as water elemental and that is a really good card. And think about how many spells the average priest deck runs, its a lot, so you have potential for great value with the heals.

Nightbane templar is a 3mana 4/5 when it activates, how exactly is that bad?

We've seen also a anti-powercreep before though! Frostbolt ---> Darkbomb

No power creep on class cards? What about mortal strike compared to fireball? They are exactly the same card but one has a condition (Which also is pretty hard to fulfill)

Perhaps arcane giant could earn a slot in tempo mage? The deck is already very spell-heavy, and sometimes it lacks the final punch, especially if yogg isn't drawn or doesn't deliver.

Not like different powerful versions of class cards haven't been there before.. I mean Darkbomb was a powerloss for warlock compared to mages Frostbolt (and it still saw some play)

Lock and Load Hunter is going to be insane in the membrane. Moat Lurker + Shadow caster combo = fun times

maby something like chogall could work together with violet illusionist, since the spell you cast is then for free and you get a 7/7 and 4/3 on board

The interesting thing about Moat Lurker is that it gets rid of all buffs on the minion it destroys. Kind of like a delayed silence.

Quick Shot was a direct power creep over an already used and almost auto include card. Arcane Explosion was rarely used anyway.

To be honest. Maelstrom Portal might enable Midrange/Control Shaman. Shaman boardclears are usually too expensive to Combo with Halazeal. and this one could maybe do some serious work with Azure Drakes and a spell dmg totem here and there

I think Medivh's valet is specifically for the chinese players that like using ice block in tempo mage. I think nightbane templar will be amazing for dragon decks when they finally wise up and make cards that boost dragons once they are in play. No, not the menagerie ones.

nightbane templar is 3 mana for 4/5 distributed over multiple minions, I think it's pretty good lol. This is a game that was dominated for months by muster for battle and this card is essentially muster but it trades the light's justice for divine strength.

Doesn't silence remove negative effects? If it does then purify is an awesome counter to cards like corruption, blessing of wisdom, humility, repentance, aldor peacekeeper and power word: glory as those cards are used against your minions.

How good would a card like Priest of the feast be if Blizzard decided that healing would increase your hero's maximum health if you are at full health? Also do you think this would be a good idea to implement in a game like Hearthstone? Also as a side note Violet Illusionist would not save you from Fatigue damage since this triggers before your actual turn starts, or am I wrong here? Arcane Giant would possible have insane synergy with Yogg if I'm not mistaken.
