Awesome, there's a unique battlecry quote when you play Swampqueen Hagatha as Hagatha the Witch; "...power for US, and death for you." If you play her against an opponent Hagatha, it's "...power for ME, and death for you." I hadn't heard that before.

this deck is so cool man. the value from hagatha, and then the refill from alysiana puts you into super-late game. Have you tried the Barista as well to get your battlecries again? it's great with swampqueen.

It's a bit late, but - in this deck, I only have 1 Witches Brew, because that's just all I have in my collection. What I have as a replacement is the less flexible Omega Mind. Combined with Hagatha's Scheme, it's a full heal. I haven't seen this combo anywhere else - it's Reno Jackson + Twisting Nether, for just 7 mana - although it does have some downsides. Also, for the Drustvar Horror, picking Storm Bringer isn't good. It can transform your Shudderwock before it gets your Elysiana battlecry.

Elysiana breaks the whole fatigue mechanic, which was put in the game for a reason.

Something I noticed that could matter in an online tournament - when he shudderwocked with the deck tracker, it tracked what 10 cards Elyssana put into his deck, even tho he should have no knowledge what those cards are.

Shudderwock can't cast stormbringer because hagatha needs to teach him

Hahaha, i was playing this same control deck and i had the exact same match up (like vs control) and his warrior conceded at the same time the warrior conceded. Fun

These control decks are just based on how many battlecries of Elysiana that you could possibly cast, when control versus control, you just need more cards in your deck and waiting.

Similar ridiculous game, but a little more ridiculous. I was playing Rafaam Warlock playing against Kibler's decklist. Regular slow paced gameplay and then I smashed Rafaam down. I spotted the same combo. Shudderwock and Elysiana, against a Shudderwock Elysiana deck. We played till fatigue and both put down our elysianas. With Chameleos though, I copied swampqueen's battlecry and minion, I added Nozari to heal me in case I was low, and refilled my deck. After playing our second deck refills, my shudderwock activated Rafaam's battlecry again and I found Barista Lynchen in my hand to bounce shudderwock back. We played some more and then I got low so I was forced to play the shudderwock in hand. In th meantime I added in Myra's battlecry. When I played the Shudderwock, Myra's battlecry added Dr. Morrigan's deathrattle so Shudderwock was reshuffled into my deck. Finally my opponent conceded.

I wish i was good at this game. Playing a R5 legend shudderwock shaman deck that i have so much fun with but i just get absolutely stomped in ladder by tempo rogue, conjurer mage, murloc shaman, control warrior, and token druid :((

Now bear with me here: What if he'd been playing warrior and that Hagatha's Scheme was Dr. Boom's Scheme. By the end, he would have been gaining like 30 armor. In ridiculous control match-ups like this... maybe it's actually good?

is it worth crafting archivist elysiana? im mainly a control player but i just started playing again and i have no cards from rastakhan and very little from this expansion. also i want to be really wise with my dust since i dont wanna spend a lot of money on packs. i mainly want it for control bomb warrior but i have a lot of wild control decks also. so should i craft her?

I'm playing a similar deck but mine has a " Exotic Mountseller" instead of a "Bog Slosher". I think that the Exotic Mountseller is Hagatha's best friend. The turn she is put on the board she is already going to do something good, if she survives a single turn things will go crazy, and she gives a good use to some of the useless spells you get from Hagatha.

ive seen people put 2 brewmaster, 2 banker and even a zola(50% to have a coin) to their deck, see how greedy those control deck players are :) btw im a control player but i only bring one banker and one Elysiana with the deck.

imagine being a rogue / priest fighting a warrior, you have the mega windfury minion in your deck, and the cauldron. you get garrosh and a way to hurt it, pull out mega guy and give garrosh windfury that you got from the pot boom 40 damage i bet its going to happen on some highlight reel eventually

I get why a streamer like you would enjoy this kind of games. They're obviously fun to create youtube content and entertain your audience. On the other hand, for a "normal player" like me it has become almost impossible to have kind of a "normal game" on hearthstone, either because of Control warriors where the games are going to last forever and it can be boring to grind ladder, or some other nonsense full RNG games where you just CAN'T have a normal/fair fight. Hearthstone is currently a giant clownfiesta where the outcomes of games are mostly decided by which cards you discover, who plays Chef Nomi or not, who has a better Archivist. Decks are not 30 cards anymore, they have like 20 random cards added to it every game. It's not very fun.

That warrior player was awful: cast omega assembly on 1 just because he saw a single murloc, didn't bother returning elysiana because he had no clue about shudderwock

For those that think Horror+Shudderwock are bugged : The spells that are cast by the horror are similar to handbuff and the battlecry of the horror is approximatly "cast the spells attached to this minion". Shudderwock as no spell attached to himself, so he cast nothing. THERE IS NO BUG !!!!

Reading the comments people are complaining that Wock doesn't both create a new Horror AND cast the Horror Spells. Are you people mad? They fixed the infinite Wock with Saronite / Grumble and you want it to come back again ?

thats not bugged, first off shudderwok would be completely broken with that interaction. 2nd its not going to recast a discover onto another card ability. It should give you the vanilla minion though just with the stats.
