Curious question.... So the Varian warrior legendary has that special interaction when played against Anduin... does he have a different one for when he is played against Death Knight Anduin?
That would actually be pretty cool, but I'd be surprised if there was. Varian has been so long ago (was it TGT?) and isn't even frequently played, i doubt they'd make a special interaction JUST for the very rare situation in Wild where the two would actually collide.
Very unlikely since they would have to call the voice actor for Varian (a card that's rotated out) for just a single line. Note how non of the alternate heroes have lines of dialogue with cards that came out before them. (illidan and tyrande, magni and brann, alleria and sylvanas to name a few) The only new line we got was malfurion reacting to tyrande and that probably happened because they were recording the wow emote to replace sorry at the time.
I thought Magni and Brann had one. I recall Brann asking Magni how the third brother was doing when he comes into play. I mean, I could be wrong on that, but I was pretty sure that was a thing.
I might have remembered brann wrong since i don't own magni. Now that you say that i also think magni came out before LoE was released so it makes sence they gave brann a line for magni. Another example would be Illidan again (all these night elves knowing each other sheesh^^) not having a voice line for maiev.
Agreed, I'd put it in instead of Free From Amber. Since he isn't running Medivh, Free From Amber doesn't really do much but put a massive minion on the board most of the time. Velen is pretty massive himself AND has the great synergy with the hero power.
Don Korb ya true I was thinking either get rid of greater healing potion or priest of the feist since you don't need two major heals if you have Raza or Lyra.

So I have been trying this deck for a few games, and it's really fun when you get to the late game. The problem I am having is that I just get absolutely wrecked by nearly every single aggro deck. I just cannot get the cards needed to deal with those, I always end up with cards that can only be played after turn 5. What am I doing wrong?
Serious question... I just crafted this deck and not really digging it. Does anyone have any success with this deck or made any key changes??? Thanks for the reply and tips, I just wanna level up
idek if elise is that good tbh, ive seen lists where people dont include her. if youre trying to copy kibler's exact list, personally, I'd replace elise with Prophet Velan
Brian! Now when Blizzard got a technology to link decklists, could you please put such links in the video description? Tho while on a pc transfering your fun decks into HS is quite easy, it's totally different story when I'm on my phone. Considering amount of hard work you put into your videos, I do not consider this a tremendous task I and prolly many others ask of you. As always, great content to unwind at work. Keep having fun entertaining masses.
I'm loving the Raza DK Priest decks. Add in Velen + Mind blast and it's stupidly broken. Without even playing Velen I get 16 damage turns via mindblast. And 24 damage if you combo Velen + Mind blast + Radiant elemental (which isn't rare considering highlander is a control deck type).
I'm sure you've probably found a good list already, but for the 1 person in the future who sees this; raza priest with dragon package works great and is the most popular deck I've seen on NA server
I use Mirage Caller to duplicate Prophet Velen, I also keep a Coin in hand and maybe Holy Smite. It's very good for killing big armored heroes in late game, you can do like 50 face damage or more ^^
I'm not sure I agree with the decision not to use Potion of Madness. I mean, you ping, potion, ping again, run the elemental into the Lich King, then play anything else in your hand for the last ping to finish him off, right? That way, you save the Anduin in case you need to kill more things.
Anyone find a deck viable for Archbishop benedictus? He's the only legendary I got out of my 20 packs, and seems like a fun card. I really suck at constructing decks for myself :(
IMO this is the most fun deck I've yet to see in hearthstone. At least since yogg n load hunter. I loved that deck so much pre yogg and call of the wild nerfs.
Nuel Nu Crawler is an early game card which is needed as priest struggles in the early game. It also helps extremely well against pirate warrior, obviously. Not the best card to run, but works well even without the pirate boost
I know that, but seeing that pirates appearance have been reduced and more cards have been given to counter aggro like lifesteal; it seems to me that a secret even if it's one class (mage) could maybe improve your win rate. Just a thought, we will see how the meta goes
Anyone having luck with Valeera the Hollow? I'm so hard trying to make decks for her, mainly spell and combo focused, but can't really find any use for her. Already existing Rogue decks just do the same, but better. Also why is it 9 mana? Like the battlecry can save you, but you need to have a well build hand before it to make the next turn worth it. Also I hate how the shadow card is only once per turn. It requires massive rng to make it even work.
I build her very similarly to the Miricle rogue, but with two Vanish because that deals with all those jade/late game decks around and evolve shaman and pirate warrior to some degree. Then I just added arcane giant as a win condition, but becuase of all the control decks, you need something extra. And for me that is the 2/1 haste pirate, cold blood and faceless. With Death's Shadow, you can get three cold bloods, giving you two 14/1 hasters striking for 28 damage. And the Death Knight card helps you get there with the Stealth.
Eric Schwenke You need raza to make the priest dk competitively viable. Lyra is amazing, but she's much less consistent in a raza deck, so I would save the dust and try the deck with raza and without her. Just to see if you want to invest that much
Why not Velen in the deck? If Velen survives one turn you could really chunk them if you've already played RAZA. You could deal 6 dmg in the same turn as Velen with hero power.
Shiny Magikarp there's an otk velen combo with him. Ping velen ping mirage caller on velen ping 0-cost cost card ping 0-cost card. Exact 30 damage math being 2+4+8+8+8. 0 cosy could be circle of healing, silence on mirage caller, forbidden shaping, wisp, or snowflipper penguin
EzioAuditore1500 Wait until the meta has settled. I know it's boring but if you dont have lots of dust it's the safest option. I have inly 3600 and just waiting.
