All attacks in Hearthstone go through a similar structure to most card games. Attack Declaration, Damage Calculation, Attack Resolution. "Whenever" effects like Explosive Trap are on declaration, but Eye for an Eye is after damage is finished calculating so it triggers then. Finally attack resolution is where all "After" effects go off. These can be anything from deathrattle sequences to the immunity of the "Immune while attacking" effect ends. Since the attack is resolved, the immunity is no longer necessary. It seems like there are also special priorities that take place during any given sequence as well. Most the time play order dictates the sequence order but this is not always the case. For example if you attack a Leper Gnome that was summoned after you equipped the Quest Hero Power weapon, the weapon's immunity effect would still cut short before the Leper Gnome triggered it's deathrattle. This is the cause of mild confusion about sequences, but this almost always only happens at the resolution phase of the attack.

It's funny how kibler has a full collection yet still has fun using the same decks over and over, whereas I spend 2 months worth of dust on a deck and get bored of it after 10 games

Question: What happens if you double Shadowstep with Electra? Does the unit cost 4 less? I know Sludge Slurper gives its own buff twice, and that left me wondering.

I’m sad that he didn’t go infinite with the Elise and shadowstep like he did in that other video, but then again it looks like it’s still a kinda clunky play

My guess regarding the damage from lepper nome is the following: the weapon makes you immune WHILE you are attacking. Deathrattles trigger only after the minion has effectively died, that is, after the attack "phase" is finished and the damage to the minion is calculated, so you are no longer immune. Secrets, on the other hand, clearly trigger in the middle of the "phase", for example, snipe will kill a 3 health rush minion as soon as it hits the board, even before the rush triggers. So when eye for an eye triggers, you are still in the middle of an attack, and therefore immune. Of course, it may be just stupid to try and rationalize blizzard mechanics, and I just lost my time xD

So many of these comments are, "My *clears throat* theory on how the Eye for an Eye works..." is mildly concerning.

Kibler doesnt realize that it was probably because he used the weapon to attack face that he didnt take eye for an eye dmg.
