hey kripp if you see this I have a suggestion for a new mechanic for arena and or all of hearthstone. When you start an arena run after you pick all of your cards it will tell you if you are going first or second. For example if you went first for your first arena game then you will go second for your second game and then first for your 3rd game. This way at least everyone will have the same disadvantage of going second.

I'm averaging 5.2 wins over 26 runs this month. I'm no pro but I am happy with this. With the daily quests I never pay for arenas. But you're very right, there is so much RNG in this arena meta it's insane, and only mage rogue and paladin are viable with the occasional priest and shaman. You'd think Warlock would be decent, given their hero power; but I never see them.

I hate how you can go like 2-0 or 3-0, then immediately get super screwed down to a 2-3 or 3-3. Almost as if the universe was scared of you being too good and was like, we need to end this right now!

Random effects are awesome! It would be boring if the same deck always always win. There need to be extravagant awesome random effects to turn the game around in order for the game to be interesting.

I do not see a problem here, Kripp. It is arena after all. It is not like you would know your opponents hand otherwise (when the cards are not randomly generated). Not like in constructed: Oh, he played already 2 flamestrikes, cannot have more of these.

Hahaha, I can relate so much, I've had shitty luck in arena lately. Plus side is that I got luck on the packs I opened and just opened the only legendary that I still wanted in Un'Goro. But arena is a randomfest indeed. Every arena I got to remind myself "Dude, it's just a game, calm down, don't get too excited about that" at least once x)

Hearthstone isn't just a strategy at all. Even constructed. Of course you need to know how to play the game and all. But I guess even since Gadgezan (sorry if I missspelled, R.I.P english) the rng was increased. Just remember: Pavel basically won Worlds because of random Babbling book into polymorph. So... that's how you win. Because no matter how much skill your enemy have, like Kripp said, you can't play arround rng generated cards. You just can't.

I stopped playing arena because of vicious fledgling. Nothing is better than losing to a 3 drop that spirals out of control because you don't have removal that one turn and they manage to make it impossible to kill after that point. Now I don't even play HS. Thank you Blizzard, I get to save my time and money. Only reason why I watched this video is because I wanted to see what Kripp said.
