I haven’t played this game for half a decade, yet here I am watching an hour long video about it. Goes to show how Kibler’s presentation keeps this game alive for me. Going to enjoy all the crazy decks you try after this set drops!
Always looking forward to your reviews. The only ones I watch in fact. Just the right amount of professional evaluation and genuine hype for fun cards. Thank you! :)
ahhhh so happy to see kibler echoing my sentiments on VOLTRON. people were clowning me but that card is a WICKED amount of burst. super stoked to see that one in action; hope I get him day 1.
Hey just commenting to let you know to keep up the good work. Your videos are great and the decks you make are not just for winning, but having fun too! It keeps the game fresh for me.
One other thing about the Rogue Titan is that, because of it being a mech, it has a lot more synergy than the other titans which are mainly just good powerful legendaries. If Mech Rogue becomes a archetype in this expansion then I think the titan is going to be absolutely incredible
If Druid can make it to 10 mana a 0 mana 5/7 + 5/5 with taunt is insane. If you don't kill it then next turn you're either repleneshing your hand or healing back to full, ridiculous.
I like your full reviews and hope to see one sometime after all the cards are revealed but since it appears that the full review will be delayed I appreciate the partial review(s) as cards come out.
While i have no idea what will happen on release, but its easy to see why so many people think the hunter Titan is underpowered. Just cause it's no where near as flashy as the other titans and its power diminishes over time whilst the power of the other titans seems to increase over time. I've played hunter for a long time and always try to experiment with hunter decks rather than going with one architype. For me i easily see my self putting that card in every deck i play. And if after release it does turn out to be weak i think making it cost 5 mana would be an appropriate fix. I cant tell if it will be weak, but following it up with another 6 cost titan that seems to outshine the previous vastly does cast a pretty large shadow over it.
One thing I noticed during the Aman'Thul review is that its 'remove two minions from the game' ability is eerily similar to the enter the battlefield trigger of Ulamog from MTG, which is to exile two permanents. And funny enough, Ulamog is an Eldrazi TITAN to top it off. Feels inspired, I think
Something to consider with Amitus is that just one buff from a Grimestreet Outfitter means it can now value trade into the 2/2's after the ability and it takes an extra instance of damage to kill. Might not be worth but hey.
Honestly they seem to be revealing whole classes at once, and the whole neutral set is out already. So there's no missing pieces, like getting the relic location before we knew what a relic was for you to miss out on when reviewing the plague cards for example. We know all the plague cards. So this is honestly fine.
I just thought of a potential wicked combo (only Wild valid though) Razza, Shadow Reaper, Algalon or Hunter Questline Algalon... Continue to hero power and arrange your opponent's deck to be unplayable.
That doesn't really do anything because it's essentially just rotating the deck, and if you want to keep something on top, then hero powering again just shows you the same card
Algalon reminding me of Patrick Chapin saying "The way you know its over is as soon as they look at the top of your library and say 'You can keep it,' I mean... its not getting any better."
Anyone know how Titans will interact with silences? Obviously the passive effects would be removed, but will they still be able to use their abilities?
"Algalon the Observer" is a card that is single-handedly making me BOUND AND DETERMINED to catch Hearthstone Worlds for the first time in years. I absolutely gotta see the [math lady-dot-gif] moments happening every single turn after he's in play. (all the above being said: once again Hearthstone has printed a card that I wish, rather than being Neutral, was somehow "everyone but Druid can play this." Ramp druid sacrifices absolutely zero hero power synergies to play this and WHEW...)
There’s so much removal in priest/warlock so I feel like since everyone is going to want to play titans that those classes will be very popular in the coming meta
I understand that dredge can sort of counter Algalon, but then it's also true that Algalon can counter dredge (if it didn't instantly draw) as you can simply put something the opponent dredged back to the bottom of their deck. Interesting card.
Some of these cards feel like they should be in different classes. Hodir looks like a Druid card, Aggramar seems like a perfect fit for Warrior, Aman'thul would easily work for Paladin since they have Bronze dragons and Time magic, Voltron seems like a non-Titan, etc...
would Algalon be too powerful if the hero power was a passive that triggered the start of turn? 1 mana each turn plus the initial 4 mana just seems too expensive...
Would have really liked if Amitus was set to a 2/8 especially with pacififed. Would have her work imo much more like Taldrim or whatever the guy who used to set to 3/3 was.
I don't think titans abilities resets when you resurrect, shadow step or invoke a copy of them. I believe each power can be used once per game, whatever happens during the game.
I liked your old review style more, because it gave me full amount of information right away AND your thoughts about cards had full amount of knowlege of all the set cards it`s like some of the stuff you say right now is interesting and helpful, but what if something was somewhat wrong because you didn`t have ALL the information and suddenly I, as a viewer, lost some of my time to the irrelevant information before we got all the details we needed eh I dunno that probably sounds rude, but I was trying to find a suitable striking but simple example for you to understand my point of view for all those years I watch only your rewievs because I find your knowlege of card games in general very helpful and, from the expereince, you are that person that`s right at the end, so I have a deep trust in your words and value your opinion maybe I`m afraid that I will lose a... crystal purity percent of quality that your videos had but I understand a need from a content creator point of view to talk about stuff right away, I just feel that`s more of a talking-on-stream type of content with the live audience and youtube review needs a slightly different aproach
The initial reviews of the Riff package were entirely on point. The Riff package sucked dick, and is only just okay now that they literally ALL got buffed.
@@AzureAiluren Right, 95% of people predicted that the Riff package would be awful, and it was, and had to get turbo-buffed. Now 95% of people are predicting that Khaz'goroth is awful.
@@kelackey I don't particularly know about awful, but compared to all the rest of the Titans (except the Paladin one, that looks like complete and utter ass) it's certainly seriously underwhelming.
Every one of my decks is gonna have a silence minion/spell or 2 in it, if only to counter the sissy titan of priest. I wish they would finally stop making that class so OP
Sargeras will be complicated to play to me you will have to reduce his cost with the symphony move , but he will be def exellent pression with like Jaraxxus like possible 3/4 taunt imp everyturns ( due to legion invasion ) and possible 6/8 taunt inferno as well , with Jaraxxus beind summoning extra 6/6 too evryturn but of course it still wouldn't be enought to me cause of fucking control priest have fight over me to copy thoses who kill each other and power chord to copy Sargeras , and like all this what is supposed to good against " control decks " will mean nothing to them still , it's like geting Alexandro identity theft into power chord Alexandro you just can't win...
41:22 Oh that stings.... xD Sah-gah-ras How they massacred my boy Sarh-ga-rez (for reference: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TtoIGzqzd7s.html )
I'm not saying the Hunter Titan is strong or not, but god damn, when was the last time Hunter had any flavor to their cards. We only get stats. Where are the whacky effects
