This is perfectly rational, I have even been given new deck ideas when I let janky off-mate decks play out their last turn. If they are too hesitant to play (demonstrating intent to time waste) I concede, if it's a meta deck I concede. Though, I suppose this is a more rational mind-set if you also run off-meta stuff too and can sympathise with wanting to get off an insanely unlikely combo that you had theory crafted only to have your dreams crushed.

Domings they really need to make it where you can only concede on your turn.

To be fair, Kibler kinda slow rolled him. He knew what his plan was, but he still hovered the cards for ages. If you wanna do something while you've got lethal on the board, do it quick; don't waste your opponent's time.

90% of the time when you let your opponent kill you they'll use ages just to do some boring shit. It's not rude to not want to waste time.

@@Marcusml333 it wouldn't. the spell simply dictates that a minions death will give you a mana crystal, not an additional one. If you play two of them, you're basically saying twice that killing a minion will give you a mana crystal.

Hasn't stopped almost every other PvP game from having chat.

+Rivini -Other PvP games have different audiences. Hearthstone is targetting a casual audience, meaning being flamed will impair people's experiences much more. -Other PvP games are generally team games, meaning there are many more players in the game and thus frustration will be more split between everyone rather than directed at a single person. Frustration in team games is generally also pointed at your own team, thus they might as well give you the ability to chat with your opponent as well. It's not like they have the option of removing chat either due to communication between teammates being mandatory. In a 1v1 game like Hearthstone, the only people you can vent your frustrations on is your opponent (or yourself, but that's rare) -Hearthstone is really damn RNG focused, making it all the more frustrating. Of course, team games can easily infuriate people from having them see their own team making mistakes, but I imagine that RNG is even worse in that regard.

Like just imagine the chat : Facing odd paladin with your tower warrior. This game hasnt gone your way at all. You are tilted from the constant aggro decks your getting matched up against. You draw your brawl, and luckily, somehow, your 1 minion survives. Instantly the enemy says "wow your so lucky" and you might not say anything. That one play turns the game around, with him constantly saying your lucky. You get annoyed, and you say it's "easy". Boom both are tilted and game experience sucks.

And so the rest of us, who are mature enough to turn off chat as we are enough to squelch emotes when we are getting frustrated, thusly have to suffer having no in-game community aspect to speak of? I've always thought this was an astoundingly weak choice for Blizzard. Even if chat/community was "off" by default, it would be fine. Diablo III's chat blows chunks as well, and SC2's leaves much to be desired. I hate this trend toward isolation/reliance on exterior platforms for communication.

Needs like one good AoE and it would be fine, zoo is ridiculously hard to beat with any sort of slower rogue. FoK and vanish just can't keep up, here's hoping we get one in the next expansion because it's loooooong overdue.
