The argument that Monika cant beat Rachel in a fight is so weird because in every other episode, she is always the freakishly strong one. I can see the argument for Phoebe, but Rachel? It feels like a very rare inconsistent joke for Friends. Nitpick aside, love that episode though.

E5 is dedicated to Courteney Cox's father who passed away from cancer a month before it aired. Also, E6 is the first episode shot after 9/11. Production was delayed for two weeks, because the table read for this episode was originally scheduled for September 11th. At the beginning of the episode, Joey is wearing a t-shirt bearing the logo of the Fire Department of New York. Lisa Kudrow has cited this as her favorite ep., partially because it was the first one they shot after 9/11 and people would thank her for still making them laugh in that dark period. In comic lore, Catwoman would always lose against Supergirl. After all, Supergirl is an alien with superpowers while Catwoman is just a normal human. Btw, I recommend the show Supergirl but it's better to watch Arrow and Flash first since they are all a part of the "Arrowverse" and even did cross-overs. Fun fact: The girl Rachel first gives money to instead of candy at the Halloween party (Lelani Mayolanofavich) is played by actress Emily Osment. She was in Hannah Montana with Miley Cyrus and is the sister of Haley Joel Osment, the kid from The Sixth Sense. Ross telling Rachel about how she'll feel the first time her baby grabs her finger is a nice callback to when he talked to Jack about the first time he felt like a father. Chandler's favourite book, The Velveteen Rabbit, is the same as Kathy's which he got for her. Interesting point about strength and masculinity. I definitely think it's okay to have a preference when it comes to things like that. Goofs: In E5, in Central Perk when Phoebe is trying to convince Monica not to fire Tim, right after Monica says "I paid to have this done" (the hair), when the camera changes and Phoebe replies "Love it", it is quite clearly not Courteney Cox in the shot but a stand-in. She even has her hair styled differently. People have only started to notice it in the last few years because the versions on streaming sites are widescreen, unlike when they were originally aired on TV. Chandler suggests Phoebe would win over Monica in a fight but he and others have said several times how strong Monica is. Same goes for Ross but he and Chandler seem to be pretty even here. Monica and Chandler's wedding was in May. Roughly 4 weeks earlier, Rachel got pregnant. Therefore, she should be over 6 months along around Halloween yet she isn't showing.

David Schwimmer was really on fire during season 8. I just cracked up at the "please don't take her away from me" line.

I actually have a situation like the one Chandler had at work. A woman moved in downstairs from me at my last apartment complex and I guess at some point she heard someone say my name (Amber) but she misheard it as Hannah. We only saw each other occasionally in the hallway so when she passed by me she said "hi Hannah" and I didn't bother to correct her. Eventually she got to be friends with my mother who also lived in the same complex, and she worked at a local restaurant where I'd often go to pick up dinner for my mom. We became casual friends and lived in that complex together for about 5 yrs. I moved in 2022 and she still calls me Hannah. I feel like I'm way past the point where I could tell her my name is actually Amber lol.

Awkward lie anecdote: When I was in college, I worked on campus as a student janitor. One of my daily duties was using a leaf-blower to clear the debris from building entrances. And I’m not sure how right I was on this, but at the time I was convinced the guys I worked with didn’t actually switch the blowers off before unplugging, so they’d automatically turn on once I put in the plug. One day, I finally felt like I had to intervene and during break time, I said “okay, you guys need to actually turn off the blowers before unplugging them, I accidentally blew a guy’s wig off today.” What I didn’t expect was for them to later tell our boss, who asked about it later. I was so flabbergasted, I accidentally confirmed it was true. And my boss thought it was so funny she told all of her colleagues about it, including my mom, who she happened to be friends with. It got so out of hand that when I tried to tell my mom it didn’t actually happen, she wouldn’t believe me.

Pheebs breaks up with him, then Mon fires him, and if he brings up the breakup Monica just has to say "I wasn't aware of that, but it doesn't change what I have to do for the good of the kitchen, sorry, but you LIT SOMEONE ON FIRE" (of course that all caps wouldn't be a yell, I wouldn't want to cost Monica a dollar lol)

OMG, that's Chris Parnell at 6:09. He has a small part in the Fallout series and I know him best for playing Jerry in Rick & Morty. I never knew he made an appearance in Friends lol

In real life Matt LeBlanc that plays Joey has a daughter that is 20yrs. I would have to research but I think that his daughter is the oldest of the cast of Friends kids. Hey Nick ! What I did have to do for you to watch “Two and a half men”??? Is a great comedic show (my favorite imo) I feel like you gonna love it

Let me start this by saying I am awful at remembering names. So, i once met this girl at church and she was a friend of a friend, so we exchanged names and pleasantries. After that, I'd see her in passing on sunadays and wave a say hi. However, it started getting to the point that she started joining my friend and me in conversations and at this point, it had been MONTHS of saying hi to her, how could i ask her name at this point??? Long story short, TWO YEARS had passed and i still didnt know her name. Before you ask how this is possible, just know that it involved a lot of tapping on the shoulder and "hey YOU"s. Also, once you know someone, you rarely actually have to say their name in conversation.

I’m just waiting for you to watch the scene of all scenes, in my opinion the funniest moment on Friends! Ross, Mona and Rachel’s father. Those who know, know!

On awkward situations where you've known someone too long to correct them now, that sometimes comes up with me telling people I'm a vegetarian. I don't want to be annoying, so I try not to talk about it with people I want to befrieneld unless I have to, but then I sometimes end up with friends who are like, "I can't believe we've been friends for 8 months and I just found out you don't eat meat." They usually feel wierder about it than me, because they start thinking about times they've invited me to steakhouses or sushi places, or eaten meat in front of me and feel some kind of way about it. They start apologizing, and I'm like, "Buddy, if I'm offended, you'll know. *I* don't eat meat. If you want to talk about vegetarianism, I'm happy to, but I don't really care what you eat."

I went through the name thing with a customer. She is a sweet little old woman and got me confused withanother coworker. I tried to correct her the sweet old thing just kept doing it so i let her. The funniest thing is the coworker she got me confused with is chinese and i am not asian at all 😂 still see the customer, still get called by my coworkers name. My coworker has moved on to another job so my current coworkers are so confused when this customer comes in.

OG Catwoman didn't have any powers at all. She was like Batman, a normal human who was acrobatic and had gadgets. I haven't read the comics for decades so this could have been retconned since then. I think Supergirl has the same powers as Superman.
