@@teletek1776 I think that it's a pun with the word "tea" because he says "When you capture London", which is the capital of England and it's a cliché that the English drink a lot of tea. At least that's what i understand
I am from Germany and have to say. A big respect for Paradox for simging the germsn songs in Hearts of Iron IV so accurate. Even the pronnounciation is right. And the Swedish accebt makes it sound cool.
Quite a famous U-Boat song during WW2. One of my relatives served on one of them as first officer. He and his men sank several british cargo ships on the western and southern coast of Africa. He was lucky though. Back from the last "Feinfahrt" with his old comrades he got on leave and married his future wife. During that time his old U-Boat together with all his friends got sunk by allied forces. He returned to duty a few weeks later on another U-Boat and destroyed several more allied ships until he surrendered in May 1945.After the war he even became good friends with the former head of the Kriegsmarine Karl Dönitz. I still have a picture of him together with Dönitz from the early 70ties. May god bless him for his service. Im so proud of him.
The meta is heavy cruisers with shit ton of light attack thane 2/3 of your destroyers should be absolutely cheapest shit you can have then the rest of them are maxed out torpedo tubes
This song if both beautiful and haunting at the same time. The singing aside, all I can imagine are the countless U-boot men and members of the Kriegsmarine who never returned. It's a mix of sadness and happiness. Remorse at their loss, but joy that their memory still lives on in songs like these. Brave sailors all. Rest in peace.
Wasn't this song actually from the First World War....and i don't think it references Nazism at all i don't think...sorry if i am wrong. either way its a good song xD
It doesn't. In fact, the song seems more about pirates than anything else. For example: "Die Kanone donnert, die Muskete kracht....Hoch lebe die Seerauberei" (The cannons thunder, the muskets crack - long live the pirates).
As seems the case with most German songs of WW2 (with some exceptions of course). one of my personal favorites is "Erika" Thanks for the insight! i really appreciate it!
SAME! im new to hoi4, and discovered this song when i was actually not loisng badly to poland (lasted till 1940, much better than the last time when i got steamrolled by france cause i didnt defend there)
@@rezandrarizkyirianto-1933 its feels true because as germany, you need to destroy convoys going to britain which the pirates do but the germans doesnt care about the loot of the convoy while the pirates do but its the same either way because you are meddling or destroying the transportation of goods from point a to b
Jack Its actually low german or the so called german spoken by the everyday people. And I kinda like this version of the song even though its sung by swedes xD.
Hey, I'm not native German speaker, but I love this version the best and Ive heard all of them. This one is so powerful.. Dont know whats wrong with you guys, i luv it :D
yes gamer hmm, interesting. Its only bad at a few words. But it does sound funny and the effect is made worse by the loud music. If it were tuned down a bit it wouldnt be that bad.
When the Allied navies fight you in the Denmark strait against your stack of 20 Battleships and 1000 NAVs and you sink so many ships that you can build a bridge from Germany to Great Britain with that.
I was translating this text, when I found out, that someone already did this: The mightiest king of the heavens is The proud eagle borne on the wild breeze. All birds start to quiver when they hear the hiss Of his wings over all the seven seas. When the lion roars in the wilderness His kingdom quakes full of fear, yes fear. We are the masters, and all we posess! On the seas we have no peer. |: O hi dee hey, o hi dee ho :| Rah! Rah! We are the masters, and all we posess! On the seas we have no peer. 2. Should we spy a ship on the ocean wide Wild jubilation is our cry; Our proud ship slices the raging tide Straight as the arrow does fly. The merchant fears for the loss of his ware And the sailors sense they are beat, yes beat As there on our mast, high in the air, Our flag, red as blood, bodes defeat. |: O hi dee hey, o hi dee ho :| Rah! Rah! As there on our mast, high in the air, Our flag, red as blood, bodes defeat. 3. We hurl our bow at the enemy's ship Straight as an arrow loosed true. The cannons they thunder midst musket crash Grappling hooks now come into view. The enemy's flag drops in defeat To a new wild cry of victory: Long live the roaring seas! Long live all piracy! |: O hi dee hey, o hi dee ho :| Rah! Rah! Long live the roaring seas! Long live all piracy! 4. When the final shot's been fired And our bloody battle is done, We'll steer this bucket of rust, so tired, Straight to hell just for the fun. Should the devil dare to bar our way We'll run him through, right through, right through. We were the masters of the day, Of hell we'll be masters too. |: O hi dee hey, o hi dee ho :| Rah! Rah! We were the masters of the day, Of hell we'll be masters too.
I'll play this song at your funeral, my little Maus ;( R.I.P War Thunder Maus the landship 2015 - 2019 (Yeah I know if you've already research it then it won't be lost. But for new players or someone who would never get the Maus in 2 weeks like me, R.I.P Maus.)
@@MastaDE You're probably a Wehraboo and probably don't know any actual German pronounciations. Swedish-German accents and American-German accents are completely different, lmao
Drinking a budweiser with spicy sausages in my new 3bhk luxury apartment with my dad while blasting this on my new home theatre , i showed all that said "you can't do that" what i can do .
Is blocked the song in the game or is only for those who have the season pass. I do not appear in the play list of the game. The answers are appreciated
whether or not i can get this again, it actually made the game so much less boring, and filled me with excitement playing as a fascist nation. We honestly need this as dlc once more, as it kinda sucks not having it.
