Eu4 is nothing compared whit hoi4 like u have to make tons of stuff
@timk8869
@timk8869 3 года назад
@@andree614 i have played both games and hoi4 is far more ez to acces, the learning curve for eu4 is far more steep than that of hoi4, it sometimes seems to me as if hoi4 is a watered down version of eu4. I am talking about the overall mechanics and flavour of eu4, the only thing where hoi4 has much more content is how your units are built and that u can activly change equipment. On a note i own all dlcs in eu4, hoi4, ck2 and stellaris so i am basing my experience on those items since both base games (eu4 and hoi4) lack content without extra money. Side note 2: with the new emperor update eu4 has surpassed limits with its gov cap Side note 3:and i hope they make bigger repricussions to expansion for hoi4 since a wc is far to ez
@timk8869
@timk8869 3 года назад
@elli Seeley nope fast explanation: hoi4 has much less mechanics to learn and much less flavour, u dont even get rebels and the overall government form are also lacking, whilst eu4 may not have the depth in the army control and equipment options it has much more mechanics in other places that are much more spred out. in hoi4 u only need to learn how to control and equip your army and u have won the game, in eu4 u need far more. for people who dont understand, just look at how hard a WC is in both games: hoi4 ez eu4 hard

I think it’s very educationally useful that you give those illustrative examples, images, of what the game mechanics represent. Like with troops Digging In, and so forth. I don’t personally need it, I can understand and visualize it just fine, but for some other people, it might be very helpful, helping them to understand what the game mechanics represent in in-world terms. Bringing the numbers to life.

16:37 Mate, you have me get up from the couch :) In very succinct sentence you summered up Polish people's spirit. If anything, we are able to better then anyone, I guess, achieve something completely heroic and unbelievably legendary, although utterly pointless and what brings even more trouble up on us. :) 19:06 "Rzhev meat grinder" - Funny that you mentioned: Battle of Rzhev, three months lasting bloody battle at the very beginning of 1943. Also known us "Rzhev meat grinder", for during this three months around 3mln people died or missing and around 1mln were wounded. Would have felt little bit different playing Eastern Front knowing little bit more history, wouldn't it? ;)

"Brigades? Battalions? I don't do military" Says a guy who does strategy game reviews ;P EDIT: To say I find it amusing, I have watched your videos for years. You taught me how to "properly" use catapults/artillery in CIV4, which I enjoyed immensely back in the day. Keep up the good work my man!

FYI - NKVD were Soviet security detachments which would become the KGB later on. They harassed Soviet military officers and citizens of occupied countries alike, and made sure everyone was following Soviet law, and mostly prevented sabotage/espionage, and acted as blocking detachments for fleeing Soviet troops abandoning their positions. They were quite ruthless. There were organized formations of them during WW2 all across Eastern Europe. They sent a lot of people to their deaths and to the gulag.
