You did good! I bawled during the part where Charlie was telling his parents he needs help and also when Tao was comforting Nick at the party. Nick and Tao have come so far since Season 1 😭
Episode 4 absolutely wrecked me. I was also in a mental institution for the last part of last year and the first few months of this year and it was a ROUGH experience, even though the institution I was in was extremely helpful and overall I think it was a positive experience it just means so much to see people like me represented in that way in media. Often times mental hospitals and institutions are portrayed as bad and the patients are made to seem actually insane even though most of the time it's just people struggling and needing a little extra help
The episodes made me sobb in my room on the floor for like 20 minutes so yeah and i love how the people who directed the show didn't rush it like it is so well written and this show said you aren't just going to cry at the end but the whole time
Hey there. You seem to be a little bit confused as to the timeline here, so let me clear it up. Nick and Charlie first met not at the start of the school year, but at the start of the calendar year when they were coming back from Christmas break. So episode one episode one season one takes place at the beginning of January of this year. They started dating in the spring, the Paris trip was at the end of the school year, so the very beginning of summer, and then everything we’ve seen so far, including Nick‘s family vacation happened in this summer. They are now starting back to school, so calendar year they’re in the very same year as the start of season one (even though Nick/Kit looks like he aged three years. Which he did.) So assume episode three season three starts in September, they’ve only known each other for nine months, and only been dating since late March early April.
Have you seen the rest of the season? I love how heartstopper highlights the fact that the sunshine character looses their sparkle being there for everyone 😭 im so curious to see nicks mental health shown more in the next season.
you should read Solitaire! It’s the story of Tori during season 3 of Heartstopper, how she cops with Charlie’s situation and her relation to Michael is detailled
Highly suggest you watch Agatha all along it includes Charlie’s actor Joe Locke and is an AMAZING show currently has 6 episodes new episodes every Wednesday
@@nxlee.i think he's got fresh wounds there, as he seems to do it after someone says he's relapsed with self harm. Refreshing that pain for whatever relief that gives him without having to open a fresh mark, therefore keeping the promise not to do it again
I don’t think this happening is what changed the mom I think she knew something was wrong the entire time and with Charlie not telling her it made her feel like a bad mom so to cope with that she took control of all the things she could with Charlie telling them what was going on I that opened the doors for her to feel like she she was helping and doing something right
