These young people have done an amazing job bringing a beautiful story to life. This is the sort of thing the LGBTQIA+ rights movements of the 80s & 90s saw when we marched for equality. So many queer themed shows and films focus on the sad, it's nice to have a normal, real love story to snuggle in front of the fire and "aww" at! :)
You can't really cover much in eight short episodes. There's a lot of stuff from the books that is being cut in a lot of new stuff that is being written. This series operates completely separate from the books
Suitable time for releasing an announcement like this, especially because Young Royals is trending so much on social media... The PR team wants people to keep Heartstopper in mind!
It’s nice to see how far season 3 goes based on the books. You can tell by Charlie’s outfits (and the drumsticks) that episode 8 is the same as the last part of book five which Charlie and nick at the festival. I’m guessing the college tours will come more in season 4 but it’s so cool to see the parallels. Buckle up for this season guys, its about to get wild!
Love this show . Its everthing i wasnt allowed to do or be as a gay man .. everyone is perfectly cast .it warms my heart to see happy youngsters being themselves❤
Having read pretty much all the books I'm low key dreading this next part. Ofc it's great to broach subjects like self harm and low self esteem among young people but.. this is gonna hurt.
Jackie Ross-Lavender did a reaction to this trailer and pointed out that Charlie appears to have scars on his arm at one point 😢 I know he's a fictional character. I know it's irrational to worry. But I just want him to be okay.
