1:51 - Joe, "But it's not good to have a tattoo on your hand as an actor, so I'll have to get it somewhere else..." (Kit's shocked right eyebrow raise and trying to hold back his laugh from thinking dirty thoughts.) Kit, "Yeah, it will have to be somewhere a bit more private." Ooh... Hahahahahahaha 😆😂🤣
🍂Oh my god I can't deal with how handsome Will looks !!! Although Is It possible to love more this wonderful people ? I mean They are bring me so much joy everytime I see them🍂🥰❤️
On the part where someone asked for a heartstopper musical, Joe and kit said that everyone can sing apart from Joe and not being mean to kit on anyway shape or form. But his singing voice is better then kits
I went to England in 1995 for my Senior Class trip in high school and I totally agree with Joe & Kit...their really is no good British food. I mean even the burgers at McDonald's and pizza I had there was awful. lol
I would just like to say how good it felt to hear both Kit and Joe just refer to Kizzy as "they" so entirely naturally. I think that is the first time I have ever witnessed that interaction. It felt to me no different to them referring to "he" or "she". That was an eye-opening moment for me and made me stop and think that it really is such a "non" issue and is so sad/frustrating that so many seem to be fixated into turning it into "an" issue. Thank you Heartstopper and cast
No good British food? What? Besides everyone’s answer of fish & chips, there’s chicken tikka masala, sticky toffee pudding, cornish pasties, meat pies (especially steak and Guinness), bangers and mash, FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST, scones with clotted cream and jam, the list just goes one and one… what are these kids on about I do accept Kit’s answer of burger, as a fellow burger lover myself. It may be one of those classically American dishes, but also the Brits and their gastropubs know how to do an incredible cheeseburger right, and it seems like a lot of them truly love a burger!
I know Alice created these great characters and I love them but, Charlie is a Virgo and Nick is a Taurus. Interesting that she has their birthdays opposite.
For some embarassing reason hearing Joe and Kit use Kizzy’s pronouns so naturally made me (as someone who has been struggling with pronouns) start crying
ME TOO!!!! It made me tear up as a person who also uses they/them pronouns and am struggling with gender identity…..they just used it so naturally and effortlessly
@@1800badbiz right, same. I have absolutely no one in my family who respects my pronouns…so to hear people who just do it so effortlessly makes me feel so safe in my own identity.
this is such a small thing and also kinda the bare minimum, but as a non-binary person, seeing kit and joe use they/them pronouns for kizzy so easily made me smile :) this is how it should be!!
i use they/them too and gosh, i just.. wished my parents were like this 😭 they don’t know i use they/them but when i mention if they’d call someone that, they absolutely denied to so yeah, gonna be misgendered for a while then. sorry for venting lol
I will have to admit as a cisgender 2 Spirit gay man who didn't have gender identity at the center of my mind, it did take a little bit of effort to start actively keeping it in mind and using appropriate pronouns with whomever I was speaking with but I found it to be joyous finding another way to show respect and affirmation to another LGBTQIA+ person and reminded me that I'd like to be called 2 Spirit because I'm Native American. I couldn't tell you why knowing that about me that it wasn't always a thing to be gender affirming specifically as the beliefs I was raised with acknowledges multiple sexualities and genders but perhaps to the point where I took it for granted. Most people don't have that luxury especially in today's climate. It's a term that encompasses sexuality, spirituality, gender, race, and culture. The first time someone did this for me that wasn't part of that community really made me feel whole because I know they went out of their way to take a step forward that not only made me feel better but I know it also made them feel better in ways neither of us realized where possible. It's amazing how a couple of little words can make so much difference and take so little effort to make it part of your vocabulary and your mindset. I think it speaks volumes of the relationship that these cast members have with each other as friends and colleagues. It's astonishing how far a little respect and empathy goes toward healing our world seeing there's no skin off it anybody's ass to do so and even astonishingly more damaging if you don't. Luckily joy and hope are contagious.
Alright, couldn't hold my laughter at 8:45 so I had to replay it.😁 I just love that Kit and Joe are unintentionally funny. Forward, when Kit spoke Pivotal moment, I was like: what? Kit is as well-spoken as Ross Geller.
@@dw7896 i totally agree.......he looked like a proper cartoon charactor He reminded me of Disneys Pluto! with his hair cut, he's movie star georgious.
Kit: Joe is addicted to coffee *from another interview* Kit: And there was a couple of scenes, kissing scenes, where I felt punished, deeply Joe: This makes me feel like a really bad person
This was really good, I like that it was longer than other interviews, and that we got somewhat different questions, but what's with the questions appearing on the screen for like half a second? Like yikes
These were all clips on tumblr that I had to paste together and they all ended with that background music and the tumblr logo, I removed the logo and put the questions instead to make the video flow, but the bg music was really quick. If I made them longer there would be a lot of parts with complete silence, so I figured y'all can just pause it to read it lol
@@Babygirlyouretheheart i appreciate that so much, seriously i know this must've taken you forever to edit but watching it made me so happy so thank you :')
thank you Alice again for creating such a great story! it did bring pure joy and happiness into my somber life i mean since it was out on apr 22nd on netflix i can't stop rewatching and updating with their news or news-related. i'm really happy that they gonna be renewed for two more seasons too!! love y'all!! please have a nice rest!!
pleased someone born in 1994 has written this. I had students in Korea born 1994. Hope one of them would make such a big difference as the novels/tv show has.
As a Korean Heartstopper makes me so happy and sad in the same time because there is literally zero positive LGBTQ+ representation on Korean media especially for teens…hope it gets better
@@김영은-d3q7z i remember back in 2007 to 2010 when i taught middle school in South Korea. They didn't even talk about LGBT,yet if you were foreign looking at how close some of the boys were to each other you would think there were LGBT in school but hiding it.
@@김영은-d3q7z which is interesting because when i lived there you would see behavior that would make people in the USA think two men were a couple. or two boys if they were students. I wish something like heartstopper was shown in the theater back around 2010, when i know it could have influenced my students
@@fireball0762 In Korea a lot of people do things that would be regarded ‘gay’ in the US(men taking care of their appearances, for example) but it doesn’t mean that LGBTQ+ rights are advocated in our country. It means that queer people are terribly hidden. Also, a lot if people here hate queer representation. If a teacher taught kids about queer rights or even showed something related to LGBTQ+, they would probably be pressured to resign.
heartstopper makes me cry bc of the story and acting and charatcers sure, but the main thing is that im so happy queer kids can grow up with such a diverse lgbt mainstream netflix show that i as a 23 year old wish i had growing up. it makes me sad for all the shit we went through but so grateful that something in the right direction exists now
