i started playing this game a few days ago. its addictive, you make good points about potions. in a weird way heartwood reminds me ALOT of the early days of Ultima Online.

maybe bandages/healing for warriors, potions/alchemy for mages, and food/cooking for rogues

Yeah exactly. I don't like to play with priest class, but I have to. Its easy way to farm. Maybe they will balance the game, where we can play with our desired classes.

I just started playing 2 days ago and I started as priest since I like to play as support, whenever I'm out farming I am CONSTANTLY getting party invites, out of the 2 days I have been playing I have seen maybe 10-15 other priest players, if there was 1 complaint I have it's that priests can't wear plate armor, I wish I could build a paladin, the mace and shield make it feel like a paladin already lol (edit - I do also wish the third ability of the priest was more useful)

Did it get changer? 3rd talent is an Aoe damage and massive heal its the most useful skill we have

some games priests are limited to cloth armor and a staff while others priest have access to cloth leather and chainmail, cant remember playing any games where a Priest could wear plate armor though. Also, much like a Templar, some games allow Priest to use Mace and Shield...its about the play style, I wouldnt call it weird
