That’s really how most of us grew up. What mother/grandma cooked is what you ate. What a great teaching! He will learn later on in life that everyone can’t afford the McDonald’s or the Chick-fil-A’s for everyone. Soups, stews, and casseroles were made to stick to your ribs and it fed a lot of people. ❤️❤️❤️

Rickey, my parents did the same thing, especially my mother. Whatever my mother cooked, we ate it because she only made one meal and if you didn't want it, you went hungry! There was 11 children and of course, she was not making a different meal for each child, we ate what she cooked and loved it! We also, were taught to say yes sir and yes ma'am because we were children not adults.
