I almost understood it, but I have one question if the warm air is trapped by the easterly jet stream and the polar easterly shouldn't warm air get cold instead of causing a heat dome.

No ,cold air is more denser than warm air when they both meet , It is called "Front". Hence colder air subsides and cooling of warm air doesnt take place

@@hemanthkrishna2968 The frontal activity is associated with cloudiness and precipitation because of ascent of warm air which cools down adiabatically, condenses and causes rainfall. But in this case no such things during FRONT , because the air is dry but still wherever a front is created the temperature usually go down and in canada not the same case , why ?

@@hemanthkrishna2968 I know about fronts, my question is if on the surface and upper troposphere there is cold air, warm air is sandwiched between cold airs, there should be some sort of balance P.S i understood sir's explanation but fucking mechanism is questioning😌😌

@@rashidbhat6179 bhai sir told know in polar belt both the surface level and atmospheric air both are cold only, and westerlies take warm air from Pacific to land, so polar easterly carrying cold air subsides and warm air rises and forms a dome.

Why the jet stream will divide the rising warm air into an eastern and western component?

The air heated at the land rises up - creating low pressure at the surface & high pressure in the atmosphere at certain height - now bcz of high pressure in the atmosphere , the warm air wants to dissipate in every possible direction thus it one branch moves westward and another eastward. Hence forming heat dome in west .

@Abhishek Triphati If u r asking abt 'dissipation of air' in west & east (i e, in all possible directions) ,it happens always. The air always dissipates in all possible directions when there is high pressure (thus move towards low pressure area -- pressure gradient effect). If u r asking abt 'heat dome' , I guess it occurs when all requirements (appropriate pressure gradient, temperature etc) are met. But acc to scientists frequency of such events has increased bcz of global warming.
