We have Hotronix Fusions. The thing that people starting out need to understand is that even though the Fusion or the clamshell model seem more expensive, you're going to get consistent, repeatable results. Also, if you decide the business isn't for you, Stahls presses hold their value and you will be able to recoup a lot of your investment. Finally, Stahls provides real support when you need answers. We started with an import machine. As soon as we had real production flow, we got our first Hotronix and there is no comparison. Just being able to swap platens to go from shirts to totes is a huge productivity boost. If you really want to be in business to succeed, get a Stahls press. And yes, we had other so-called high-end, non-import presses but they didn't cut it for production. Josh here is giving you the facts, but take it from a real-world cheapskate: the day we took delivery on our first Hotronix is the day we stopped worrying that our business clients would think we're amateurs. And that is money in the bank.
@@StahlsTV Not at all. I stand behind my comments the way you stand behind not only your equipment but also your heat printing materials. We use Stahls' Fashion Film, flock, glitter and CAD Print material and it's excellent. So, please do.
I love my Hottronix!! I messed up in the beginning by not having the right pressure on one of my granddaughters garments. It does make a huge difference.
wouldn't that auto open lead to a problem with ghosting unless you use spray adhesive or tape with every single application? i'm guessing you guys sell spray adhesive and heat tape though right?
You would be able to use the tacky paper for sublimation when using the auto clam. Spray adhesive [ www.stahls.com/adhesive-tack-spray ]or heat tape [ www.stahls.com/thermo-tape ] would also work. Another way is to grab the handle when applying sublimation prior to the time expiring, which prevents the "vacuum effect" and risk.
What a joke. Comparing a cheap, amazon press against a MUCH more expensive machine. Try comparing it to a comparably priced one. For instance, Galaxy GS-105S from China has all the same features and quality that you are showing for roughly half the price. This is why China is winning the game. I totally support Made in the USA, but I’m also not stupid and willing to pay twice as much for the same thing.
