My Gree Hansol does the defrost many times a day even when there is not even a smallest sign of ice on the coil. Why it is doing like that? Please help!! When the outdoor temp is around 3-4 C° everything is fine. It can run all day. If the outdoor temp drops at -1- -2 C° it does that 10-15 times a day, but no sign of ice on the outdoor unit.
I have a Panisoinc and there is only one hole. It's being going into defrost mode a lot. I washed it out with hot water. There were a few leaves and pine needles. Would outing a cover over the unit help ?
It depends on the location of the outdoor unit. If it is under a drip edge where melt from above is dripping on the unit and getting on the back of the coil, then a cover would be useful.
Are you able to provide any additonal details? I would order one today if I could. Dealing with a lot of ice build up due to rain/freezing rain/snow conditions all within a 24hr span. Thanks so much!
@@pauleedeehimself8489 not according to the technical specs. There is a slight difference, but not 'blows your COP out the window'. And money well spent compared to a freeze up in the middle of the night in February, or damage done to the outside unit.
