We derive the temperature profile for a cylindrical wall at steady state with no generation using the Heat Equation in cylindrical coordinates. We use constant surface temperature boundary conditions at each side of the wall. We also plot temperature, flux, and flow of heat as a function of r through the wall.

Consider the heat transfer fluid flow with constant thermophysical properties and a steady state in the space between two concentric cylinders. The inner cylinder is solid and has a radius of 1r and the outer cylinder is hollow with an inner radius of 2r. It is desirable to determine the heat flux and recovery coefficient for the cases where the pressure gradient is not considered or the pressure gradient is considered: a. Examine all possible states (ie 1zV and 2 zV in the same direction, different directions, 10zV and 20 zV and vice versa.
