sir what is the physical significance of subtracting Q1 and Q2 as both plates are emitting and neither of them is absorbing??

Sir, Heat is radiating from both side of the surface so i think area should be multiplied by 2....

Sir can we supply same power to both the plate .

Hi Kamal. Thanks for going through the video. We can surely provide equal power to both the plates. We just need to regulate the voltage and current to individual plate. In that scenario, temperatures of both plates will not be equal and we will not be able to compare their emissivity, because, by basic concept, emissivity can be compared only at same temperature. If same power is provided, temperature of black plate will be less because of higher emission from it to atmosphere. At the same time, temperature of white/polished plate will be higher because of lesser radiation given to atmosphere from it. This physical understanding shall also be helpful in Oral/Viva/Practical examination to the students. All the best with your learning.
