Take away a boxers rules and it's one of the most INEFFICIENT fighting styles for street fighting. Literally get taken to the ground and what? You get absolutely fucked. Lift you up and no footwork? I'm dropping you on your skull and laughing as you foam at the mouth. This is completely ignoring the fact that I can go for eyes, throat, nuts and other vitals or sensitive body parts. Also if you're good at street fighting, learning boxing is going to be extremely difficult because you'd have to throw out everything you've learned before hand and abide by boxing rules, no longer the "no rules" fighting style you've grown from.
