Like what rants said if these stories about CR7 and Slabhead are true then you don't announce the captain a week after CR7 doesn't report for pre-season. As well, why announce who the captain is when it's the same player as last season. Line in the sand has been drawn, Ronaldo is done.
There is one big difference: Since Luke Shaw has been at the club, we have never signed a better LB. Since Martial has been here, we have signed Zlatan, Lukaku, Sanchez, Cavani and Ronaldo. Shaw got benched by Ashley Young(good player, not a LB) Brandon Williams and Telles. Cannot compare their situations bro.
you dont watch football plain and simple. its so easy to tell who actually watches the games and the ones who dont. all you do is check the scores and stats. you never watch the matches.
Its understandable to think that about Rants if you're looking at that on a surface level. Once you deep it, you'll realise that Rants is right because of all the factors that go into it.
@@akeemguy7331 apart from Zlatan and Cavani, Rants didn't rate them. By that logic, Martial should be able to establish himself through his work ethic and stand out. Nobody is asking him to be the main man when bigger names are ahead of him at his own position, however it is your duty as a young G to stay ready for any opportunity you can get and force your way into the manager's plan. Can't say he has done that tbh. The problem with Martial was never his footballing ability, it was always his mentality, "the minerals" as some like to call it. He has big shoes to fill this season, and boy he better fill them good because we are done out here otherwise.
Damn the disrespect cr7 is getting 😆😆😆 🤣😂😂 it's funny how they will start saying martial is a bum when he struggles in real games dude was a bum at Sevilla under a very very good coach I can't wait
I know he's getting excited over the football and not the results but LFC C team & a bunch of weak opponents, I don't get why so much excitement! I'd wait until you do this vs a good team in a big game! Not saying they won't have a good season, just saying I don't get the excitement
@@RafaelSantos-di5yw it's because he can see the beginnings of a philosophy at united... Under oli there was zero style of play and the last guy was hopeless... Man u's style of play will be pleasing on the eye next season
The guy on the left really baffles me with the mere fact of how serious he can be while spewing out such idiotic logic.... Social media has given idiots a voice and audience that no meritocracy in human history would have!! My word
I swear when it comes to discussing about CR7 and Messi, but more so CR7, their fans stop using logic. CR7 is currently not good enough to start for a top 6 side. The fact that he was rejected by multiple clubs should tell you everything you need to know. He’s done at the top level.
Mate, I think you didn't use logic! You're telling me LFC have one season wonders from portuguese league, Chelsea have Werner, Arsenal have Jesus & Nketiah, the less said about Man Utd the better, Spurs have good players but that don't win anything and you're telling me he doesn't start for any of them? I think Man City is only team that can bench him and that's assuming Haaland is as good as him which I'm not sure if he is
cos united havent had a competant, mobile dm since younger matic. its the one position united needed for years but neglected it. different scenario brother.
@@mclovin3855 I ain’t a united fan bro 😂 Just saying that a team can twerk for a player because he fits the system rather than a team wanting a player so they can build around him
@@Mak1LFC Because ten Haag as coached De Jong before and so he knows his quality. He does not want him to build a team around. I don’t even support united, just using my brain
Fanboys get carried away over those 18 goals he scored. Firstly, in what position did United finish even after those 18 goals, How consisttent was he scoaring those goals? He would bang 2 of 3 goals and go missing for 3 or 4 games. Also he had so many misses before he scored those goals. When you have the entire team playing for you and the entire team is build around you always getting the assists to score, you are are huge reason why they placed 6th and why United are out of CL. If Ronaldo wants the entire team to play for him and they fail he has to take responsibility. But instead he is running away trying leave United in the dirt. One thing is staying at your own will and another thing is staying because no team wants to sign you which is more emberassing. But like always Ronaldo fan boys will praise him for everything and bring Messi up or some deluded shit like that whenever someone criticizing him. There are Man U fans and then there are Ronaldo fan boys.
🤣 And that right there is why the club dont win shit. So Ten Hag should keep Ronaldo in his plans, not because he fits the system but because of commercial reasons? Commercial thinking first. Also why the wanted to give pogba 300K a week
the thing is ten hag has been saying for time he would like to work with Ronaldo. even in his first press conference, he said it prior to Ronaldo leaving due to “family issue” reasons before the team went on tour so Saeed is partially correct but i’m sure his stance will change eventually especially if this whole Ronaldo fiasco continues to make noise
@@naninels2617 then why has he had ronaldo in his plans? that’s the thing. and i agree with you but maybe he had plans on tweaking his system a bit to accommodate him? you never know
Ronaldo fans are struggling to deal with reality...He's washed man!!! Man's living off his Madrid days... Messi is also regressing but unlike Ronaldo he gets involved in the match and offers much even if he doesn't score loads
Rants been hyping Martial for years and he’s been constantly inconsistent for Man U. So now that he gets some good games in pre-season, Rants thinks he knows football 🤣🤣🤣
Rants has a good argument, problem is that it could be based on lies! Sometimes "reading between the lines" could mean you just made up a narrative because it makes sense in your head! The 2 strongest theories are CR7 wants to leave or Ten Hag doesn't want him but for all we know it could be something even more mad (like a clause in the contract or advice from Ten Hag to rest more than others, which yes I made up those theories as well lol)
I really don't get the negativity Ronaldo receives. He played in a distinctly average Man Utd team last year, and still scored 18 league goals, finishing 3rd. Although in the twilight of his career, he is a living legend. Man Utd are lucky to have him, where would they have finished without him last year?
As a neutral I agree with with Saeed. ETH doesn't have that authority to tell Cr7 isn't part of his plans. I think it's actually ronaldo who wants the move 🤷🏾♂️
Ronaldo your top goal scorer and is the only player in your team to hit double digits and you man are getting gassed of martials one two likkle touches in pre season lmao. United fans are becoming more deluded then arsenal fans who were happy to see auba leave and as a result bottle fourth. Joke ting.
@@reddabos ronaldo worst season off his career last season got 18 goals martial best ever season got 17 premier league goals the fact is ronaldo even at his worst is better then martial
Whether it's pre-season or not, United are still playing the kind of football they've not been able to for years. Ten Hag may not have said straight to Ronaldo that "you're not in my plans", but that doesn't even matter - if Ronaldo's not the guy, he's gonna leave. You'd be mad to break that up for the sake of one 37yr old man's ego who can't run anymore.
I've got to disagree with Rants on the point of Ronaldo not being able to adapt to ten Hag's system. This is because, even though players such as Sancho, Martial, etc who have good technical competencies are performing now and are good players it doesn't excuse their poor performances last season. Sancho wasn't able to adapt to the Prem even though he played well in glimpses wasn't able to translate even a quarter of the total G/A in Dortmund with Haaland (a target man) as with Cristiano, and his pressing wasn't as evident as it is now. Martial has not not had a stellar season despite being in the club for 6-7 years and was a flop at Sevilla last season. Also, Martial is a renown for his lack of pressing and work rate, but is doing so right now under ten Hag so why isn't Ronaldo (who has a better workrate) not able to do it?
Ronaldo doesn’t have better work rate than Martial. It’s a myth that Martial is lazy, he just has never had a pressing system to play by. Martial is better in every acumen for ten hags system than Ronaldo.
@@hhayer6465 In my opinion he does have a better workrate in always being available to receive and play the ball, get into goalscoring opportunities and effecting the game to a greater degree than what Martial has shown. It is very evident to the footballing consensus that Martial has a low workrate, Skysports even put out analysis one of his performance 2 seasons ago where he was totally ineffective in the game.
Ronaldo has never pressed . He won’t press at 37. The system and and gamestyle are the most important thing . Every player has to buy into it and do what Ten Hag is asking of them… Ronaldo won’t because he can’t and he’s a sulking prima donna he will … sit on the stairs and have a tantrum… throwing his toys out of the pram…
ETH has one chance to prove to the United fans that he's different from the yes-men before him and backing maguire as captain is one strike (maybe it's the board trying to keep Maguire's value but that doesn't help his case) but I guess we'll find out when the season starts. If ETH is just like the guys before him united are completely done.
The problem here is this incompetent board, they want CR7 for clout and revenue he brings and not thinking for the team chemistry and success as a group not individually
Ronaldo is more effective against certain teams in comparison to martial. For example, against athletico or those ultra defensive teams. Secondly, they can play together
I can't lie. Although being a huge Ronaldo supporter, Rants has a point in ten Hag's system being collectively based rather than just around one player, which pre-season is the best way ten Hag experiments with the players and Ronaldo not being there will be disadvantageous to Utd if he isn't apart of the pre-season preparations if ten Hag wants to accommodate him. But, I believe Ronaldo is a tremendous asset to the squad and 18G's (even if it was in bunches) is not easy for a player of his age in the Prem. Ten Hag wants him to stay and he has worked with players who aren't ideal for him before, therefore there is space for Ronnie in his system. If Haller (who was a flop at West Ham) can return to score 32 in 50 games under ten Hag as a target man (despite playing in the Eredivisie) Ronaldo who is a completely better player can definitely see a surge in his goalscoring output if he decides to stay.
Ten Hag is smart, if Ronaldo is in the team vs Brighton it's probably because he trained well and got used to the system quickly not because of his star power! Under Ralf it would have been the same if there were any decent backups
I don’t think you understand that ten hag relies on keeping the ball and pressing from the front. Haller is much younger than Cristiano so the collective press benefits..Cristiano stopped pressing years and years ago since Real Madrid..he cannot keep that intensity throughout the season..why keep a player on that wage who can only press once every two weeks!
@Tyrese Coady I understand where Rants is coming from where he wants a long term player, but I do belive Utd needed Ronnie to bring in his knowledge, skills and abilities but especially that elite mindset to the changing room and guide the team to former glory. It was to stagnant at Utd at a time where players eventhough they had talent such as Pogba and Martial didn't perform to the levels expected mixed with sub-par players (for Utd's standard) such as Maguire, Wan-Bissaka. That's why I believe he was a necessary acquisition, Utd needed a catalyst for change.
I don't trust these players after last season. This is World Cup year, I think we'll see some really good performances from them, they want to go to Qatar. They downed tools last season, Ronaldo didn't don't forget that.
Found rants through Andrew rate, he’s now becoming my favourite United RU-vidr fast. All his takes have already come out of my mouth, nice to see them getting an audience
If Cristiano signs for clubs like Chelsea, Tottenham or Arsenal this summer then he's Still a United Legend for me. The only way CR7 tarnishes his United Legacy is by joining Man City or Liverpool.
ngl i hope cr7 leaves i wish him the best but when hes in the team its all about him i feel like Cr7 mentality is to much for united atm theres a balance in every team with cr7 that balance for united crumbles
Then again guys, doesn't Ronaldo start for Portugal every game when he's fit so if United don't end up selling him, CR7 will end up as a squad player or impact sub.
Ronaldo’s hysterics are a blessing in disguise for 10 Hag because it let him form a settled system without shoehorning Ronaldo in. Rashford, Sancho and Martial have great chemistry and movement. If Ronaldo comes in and he messes up the system then it will confirm suspicions that he can’t fit into the system and either has to work towards it or ride bench. Hope 10 Hag is brave enough to bench him if necessary
I am a ronaldo Fan but the fact these man don't understand the team is more important that 1 player. The fact that ronaldo is dashing it out in these skreets alone is a violation and he is past expiry date
I hope ten hag plays Ronaldo just so Ik they are not serious this season but I don't think he will bc unlike some deluded utd fans he actually wants to succeed
What Rants is saying about the "value goes down" aspect is 100% true. I will say one thing about Ronaldo, IF he is in Ten Hag's plans what he is doing right now could potentially force him out of them. Especially if Martial form continues. I dont see a point in keeping him for one season to be honest IF he wants to go.
@@Mak1LFC Where did I say Martial was better than Ronaldo? who said anything about World Class. You reaching bro. I said if Ronaldo is in Ten Hag plans then skipping pre season training can potentially force Ronaldo out of Ten Hag's plans IF Martial form continues. (Which is what BIG clubs do) And if a manager comes out and say a player isnt in their plans their value goes down. That applies to every player and is basic common sense. Read to understand please.
So much politics in football. Saying the right things in public but behind the scenes a different agenda. Rants is spot on here. Learn from mistakes of the past… the system and the right players or we’ll see the same shit.
