Got to say, this post euros game content is absolutely phenomenal. Excellent viewing. Hate to say it toms right, we have not seen success under any manager like we have Southgate. Even with our golden generation Southgate’s got way further than any manager ever did with them. Yes there’s a few decisions he could change, but once again the best teams win games with poor performances. The FA need to take some pressure now too. They’ve done Southgate a disservice by not removing after the World Cup. The World Cup didn’t end well but nobody was upset with Southgate for it. Still don't know how Theo and lewis don't understand Tom's point. It happens in every sport. Managers and coaches always take most of the blame when it comes to performances or results. Yes the coach usually tells the players how to play, but at the end of the day the coaches don't play the game the players do and if you were a player starting for a coach who you know likes to play a certain way and you want to continue starting are you going to go against how the coach likes to play, I don't think so. Tom is not saying the Southgate is doing the right thing and doesn't deserve criticism, he is just saying that not all the blame should be put on him and the players should also be at blame.
