I feel bad for those kids who have this plate ump in a close elimination game. He will absolutely screw a team out of advancing. Umpiring that bad is what motivates a lot of guys like me to pursue it as a part-time job once my son gets into HS.

baseball so childish nowadays. I get being in the game and having fun and having energy but don't say anything you wouldn't say if you were both up 10 or down 10. Nothing I can't stand more than when a team is losing all game and quiet then go up and act like they're winning by 12. Say whatever you want in good fun but only towards your own teammates to hype them up that way, it always fits the situation.
