I'm a 68 year old woman. I lost my dad years ago. I lost my husband 3 years ago. I have no brothers and I have no sons. My fear is that I'll lose my house. I graduated in the early 70's. About that time women were ALLOWED to have a credit card in their own name without a dominant male to sign for them. If tRump is President again and women lose their rights then how do I pay my utility bills for my paid for home, presumably without a dominant male to be a signer for my bank account? On the Abortion issue: it's not a matter of whether one is Pro-Life or not. It is about a woman having the right to her own body. It's about My Life First. It's about my quality of life first. It's about my health and education, my hopes, my dreams, my plans superceding that of an embryo or fetus. When the government takes away your own right of your own body away from you then you are no longer a Free Citizen of the United States of America. Right now, for the most part what we have is FORCED CHILDBIRTH MANDATED BY THE GOVERNMENT. By the way... Isn't there talk about taking away women's right to vote? I am retired with health problems and I worry about cuts to Medicare and Social Security, just about existing now. I have a disabled daughter that will be 43 in a few months. My grandson has Autism, he has been given a great help with programs from our government. These is hurting the most vulnerable.

If the prospect of a Trump Presidency and the implementation of Project 2025 scares you, and it should, be sure you are registered to vote, make sure your friends and family are registered to vote , and help our older or infirm friends and neighbors to get registered and get out to vote. I work for a cattle producer in northern NM. Trump started this process rolling fast when he moved the BLM out of DC, away from legislators, to CO. All the older, more experienced personnel, including geologists and anthropologists, retired rather than making the move. Trump proceeded to replace them all with his supporters thus putting millions and millions of acres in the West under the control of mining and oil and gas interests. WHY THIS WAS AND IS NOT BIG NEWS EVERYWHERE I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. A thorough assessment of past and present BLM policies needs to be rigorous, constant and ongoing. Please evaluate what is going on at the BLM.

I’m so glad I listened to this. I’ve been hearing about The Heritage Foundation for years so it seems so out of character that they’ve become such extremists. They have new leadership that has a dark vision of our country and I appreciate knowing where it comes from.
The Heritage Foundation was created by the Koch Brothers and they were influenced by the John Birch Society. They were adamant about destroying everything that FDR created and eliminating all regulations on business.

I don't think that's fair. It's everyone's fight. Black women pushed President Biden over the hill in 2020.The younger men are getting pulled into this cult. There is a huge issue in helping them feel connected that they aren't feeling in their everyday lives.
Democrats fall in love and always look for mister perfect instead of working towards an objective (look at what's happening to Biden) while Republicans always fall in line as a means to get to their objective (Trump convicted but GOP all fall in line). My hope is that different women are running this show than the ones who lost the ERA. In 1980, I came out of bush Alaska to attend an engineering seminar in Juneau. I was so excited to attend an ERA supporters meeting. I went directly from AKDOT to the meeting in an Evan Piccone business suit and heels. I found 50 women sitting on the dusty carpet in Birkenstocks who shunned me. In the end I took off my shoes and stood in a corner. I tried to ask a couple of questions and got averted eyes. In fact they immediately started fake chatting about how to recognize "Christian infiltrators" by their clothing. That was the end of ERA support from me. I was doing it and they were sitting around on a dirty floor. I had broken into 2 labor unions first woman dispatched to field engineering related positions working out of helicopters and tents camps. A couple of years ago I wrote an article called "Why I Don't Wear Birkenstocks" documenting that horrible experience. My greatest hope is that women have matured beyond that ignorant time in our country so we can move ahead and include even the women who have perservered and achieved equality in life threatening circumstances. It looks to me that we are all being manipulated into life threatening peril.

As I do not surround myself with Trump fans, I only know 2 people who are planning to vote for him. I've looked up Project 2025 and was absolutely outraged! Neither one of the 2 Trump people that I know have never even heard about Project 2025! Which I can't understand! But I've talked to both of them over and over and over again! I've sent them videos on Project 2025! I've explained it to them. They just don't want to listen to me, so I've had to end my friendship with them, one being my own cousin! How sad these people are not educated, and I really tried to reach them and make them understand what they would be doing to our country as we know it! I'm so grateful for your channel! You're not the only one. I have lost interest in some of my most intense passionate things like even playing my piano, I've been crying a lot, I'm worried about my friends who are in the minority groups, I am flabbergasted at the blindness and apathy of people who do not have a clue what is coming, at those who will not budge from their position that somehow this is a good thing. Our family is looking at ways to get out of the country, I have dual citizenship with Canada but it can be complicated. It's absurd that we should have to uproot our whole life. All we want to do is do our work and live and tend our garden and do our hobbies and raise our children. But I fear that this is another one of those times in history. So many people have had the same thing happen. I think we need to try to think positive, take a step back from the news, I would like to join some kind of a group doing something. What mailing postcards to people saying, read what project 2025 is, donate to candidates who are trying to fight this, I have done some donations. Somehow doing that helps you to feel somewhat empowered.

Please value yourself, And the best thing you can do for yourself is to take a break from the news cycle. Take a walk. Breathe, keep busy with whatever things that you do that keep you busy. Hug your pets. Your kids never miss an opportunity to tell them you love them and please... Take care of yourself. Maybe have a hot bubble bath with lots of bubbles and put on some lovely music and just enjoy the moment because in fact that really is all we have in reality anyway. I can so relate to your feeling, but I can also understand that you have to take care of yourself. This too shall pass, I think ultimately it will be okay. Please take care. Just like last time, he will most likely lose but claim victory anyway and start putting 2025 into action while the courts try to settle questions of fraud and lawsuits. Trump filed over 90 lawsuits last time to try to derail the vote. He's packed the courts now and with promises of lifetime appointments to positions of their own choosing some of those judges might be more inclined to side with him this time .He actually started pushing through 63% of the plan in 2016. Biden rolled back what he could but much of it including his strategically placed loyalists remain even now. DeJoy in the Postal Service is still trying to kill mail in voting today.

It's not one guy. Christians have been planning and carrying this out since the 1980's. They finally have a president and Supreme Court to carry it out. They had to have a majority of SCJ's to get it done. There are thousands of people that have already carried it out. 65% of it Trump did in his first 4 yrs.

I've never been part of a virtual even with so much energy and engagement from the participants. 35K is an amazing number. Be more engaged with young folks in your lives. Check in with them. Love them with no agenda and they will remember THAT when you have something to teach them

There needs to be a discussion about the electoral college. This is not a democratic away of voting. This is a "Ruling Class strategy to controll the system. Why is it still in place.
