Heather Gay from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City addresses the argument that fans have made that the women were more upset with Monica Garcia for the troll account than they were about Jen Shah ripping off the elderly. She says Jen denied ever having any guilt and so the group was simply supporting her in what she was saying. She also talks about how Jen was, at the very least, being herself while Monica acted like a completely different person on the show.

It will never sit right with me the way Heather and others were protecting and defending Jen for so long. A person stealing millions of dollars from the vulnerable and elderly. They had more heat for Monica than they did the felon. We could all see through Jen's never-ending claims of being innocent.

Heather was in a situation like a DV survivor,she was terrified of Jen and she controlled the ladies thru bullying,threats and other forms of manipulation.Its a classic signs of someone in a abusive relationship.

@@michellefreake9985 that's the convenient narrative she's using to justify her stance about Monica. Using her "trauma with Jen" as a clutch for everything during the reunion was irritating asf. Heather is a liar and hypocrite. She lied to Andy, Bravo and production about the black eye for years, and defamed production and put their jobs at risk. She wants sympathy for that, but shows none to Monica. She knew Jen had suspect business practices and chose to ignore it, and is still more angry at Monica than what Jen did. It's foul, and she said at the end of this video that she hopes Jen is glad at what theyve done to Monica. WTF?

My only question is though: do you think what Monica did was still wrong? Cause I think we can say what Jen did was absolutely wrong, what Heather did was wrong, and what Monica did was also wrong. Like there seems to be this narrative going around that since Jen defrauded the elderly and Heather lied about her black eye and defended Jen, then what Monica did wasn’t wrong. But I think this is a situation where everyone can be wrong. Cause what Monica did is still very creepy to be honest and I don’t think should be ignored just cause Jen was criminal and Heather is a hypocrite.

I think it's very interesting that Heather was sooo afraid of Jen that she actively lied and covered for her and through that putting other people including the entire production crew in a very dangerous spot but she just accepted that as collateral damage. But when Monica is trying to expose the actual criminal behavior of Jen and has to use the other women as collateral damage she is run of out town. And to be fair Heather was constantly questioned about the black eye and lied to everyone single one of the them. Monica was never asked if she was involved in the account.

Jen Shah is a convicted criminal and the whole cast had their suspicions about her long before she pled guilty. Jen Shah treated the whole cast absolutely horrible. Jen Shah defrauded the elderly. Monica Garcia exposed Jen Shah. She is not the moral equivalent to Jen Shah at all. It is unfathomable to me, how this cast was ride or die for Jen, but dropped Monica like a hot potato, the moment they got the chance. Either they are a bunch of elitists or they are just mad, that she outsmarted them. Nonetheless, they are morally bankrupt for sure.

Kenya didn't want to film with Porsha after she got physically dragged during a reunion show. There are many examples of Housewives doing worse. The other ladies on Salt Lake City would get over it real fast if they were told Monica stays and if you don't like it you can go. Heather lied and threw production under the bus. Without Monica this show will fade away just like Dallas.

RHOSLC will be on the shelf with Dallas and DC. Monica was the best thing this season. Her story was so relatable to so many women in America. A single mother living a regular life. I’m over these elitist groups of women and their perfect lives filled with botox and full time makeup artists.

I mean I get what you're saying, I agree Monica brought the drama and was by far the most entertaining this season but that's literally what housewives has always been about. When did we start watching for relatability? I don't wanna watch housewives and see these women doing everyday things that me and my friends do. I rather the wealth and opulence. Give us the fancy houses, cars and trips. That's actually why the franchises thrived in the early seasons.

Agree with Andy about last year. The crickets at the previous year's reunion over Jen were pretty disconcerting. Agree with fans who point out that they collectively piled on Monica for blog posts more than JS last year. When housewives bring up lies - they clearly have standards for the lying liars and the lies they tell. Monica's infractions don't even compare to JS - and other housewives in other franchises. The pile-on was a convenient way to deflect from their own baloney and unite in their distorted sense of righteousness.

I use to like Heather ,, but not so much anymore Regardless of what Jen was actually charged with , there was evidence presented to back it up she was also given the opportunity to defend herself In the case of the black eye I think heather is throwing Jen under the bus ,, because all you have is Heather's word as to what took place ,, Jen doesn't have the luxury of defending herself against anything thats being said about her

I think the rest of the cast of _“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City”_ (Sans Monica Garcia and Mary Cosby OFC) all seem to be more willing and find it easier to defend Jen Shah and shun Monica Garcia for further reasons such as: • They’re more fearful of Jen. • Jen has more of a higher social standing than Monica in the Salt Lake City “higher-society” social circles. • And Jen has more of a chance of returning to the show sooner rather than Monica… 🤷🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♀️👀😮‍💨😖

Heather answered this so wrong. That argument is wrong because Jen Shah is irrelevant - just because she supported Jen, that doesn't mean Monica isn't a stalker that lied to them about knowing who they were after she had been trolling and digging up dirt on the women for years. It doesn't matter if she supported Jen Shah - none of that makes monica's behavior excusable. Stans can try all they want but there's no way to spin what Monica did as okay. And that's why sis got fired.

Your argument is not cogent. They all slam each other online constantly, why should Monica be held to a higher standard? Furthermore, Moncia explained that she used the account to expose Jen Shah which was honorable, in contrast to Heather and Meredith who deep down knew exactly who Jen was but decided too cover for her and enable a criminal prey on the vulnerable.

Monica is being held to a higher standard because she was the only one doing drive bys of the women’s houses, taking pictures of them and going into their businesses under different names - NONE of the other women have ever done that! Also - RVT was not honorable. Monica did all of that out of a personal vendetta - had Jen been kind to her she wouldn’t have lifted a finger. Monica literally always says she wanted to get back at her for how she treated her staff, not because of what she did to victims. That girl is crazy and a manipulative liar and it is plain as day.

Monica and Jen Shaw are hands down the most trash “entertainment” casted on RHOSLC and Bravo as a whole. across the board. I get a good story line and some funny cat fights… but come on Andy, didn’t think it could get worse than Jen but you’ve proven different, not a good look.
