This was an EXCELLENT pairing..Their voices complemented one another very well. Two pro's working that song and playing to each others strengths.... Well done.. Totally enjoyed this. Glad they recorded it as well.
Heather Headley has one of those voices that is timeless and versatile, not just limited to R&B but Gospel and other genre's....I JUST GET SO FULL AND IN TEARS LISTENING!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!
they BOTH have very Anointed voices. that is ALL that counts, to the glory of God. the anointing destroys the yoke, not riffs or runs, the anointing. I thank God for them both - they both have been a blessing in my life. nicole d.
They are both so amazing together in this wonderful duet. Love the way they play and interplay off each other. Great, great interpretation of this song!
God couldn't have put 2 greater singers together. They are some fantastic talents for the Lord. You know, God does things for a reason. They are his vessels to minister to us(His children). God is love.
I pray that one day you believe Jesus and God are one in the same. I also pray that if you are not a believer, that this song that you feel so deeply in your soul. Which would be called the holy spirit, will eventually make you a believer. God Bless!
Jonathan Piper II That's cool, but they are both so talented and blessed. A lot of us women are towering over our men, but that does not take away from the realness of who and whose's we are. God's marvelous made children !!! (smile to you sir!)
Who in their right mind is saying that Heather H can't sing? Smokie is in his element here but Heather can interpret better in so many other genres. Those who like listening to gospel (with that particular vocal style an intonation) will of course resonant to Smokie….but Headley is another thing all together…puns for pound she dwarfs Smokie in most any other genre...
+Ishmael Griffin Heather is the BEST pure vocalist of the last TWENTY years!!! Listen to:"I'd rather Have Jesus"where sheLOUDLY streeeeeeeeeetches-out"anything" over TWELVE whole seconds with a"crack"!!
@theislandmedic , she seems off, but I heard her sing on TBN and she was wonderful; wonder if she could not hear herself well on the monitors; that will do it
Beautiful song. I think Heather can sing, but she was just no match with Smokie Norful. He just commands your attention with his tone and her voice just kind of faded once he started. Nevertheless the song is lovely
