This gives me hope for the modern vocalists of the world. You’re not trying to sound like anyone else and it sounds perfect. I listen to this on loop for hours, it’s that good. The calm “shut up, Heather,” is just the icing on the cake. This is what I’m looking for in a cover when I listen to them and I hope to find more covers this good out there.

I’m much more of an impressionist whilst singing, so I try to sound exactly like the original. So I have immense respect for vocalists like these who make songs their own and don’t default to that.
