I bought this a few years ago. Cooling is worthless. Heat does work. I put in storage when winter is over and install before the first real cold front (below 40 degrees Fahrenheit). Takes longer to heat than factory installed car seat heaters and doesn’t get as hot as the factory seat heaters. Safer than DIY heat strips that goes under seat fabric. Wife’s vehicle has factory heated seats and you feel the heat before you’ve reached a quarter of a mile. I don’t feel the heat until a mile or two down the road. Good alternative to DIY heat strips that goes under seat fabric.
Hey my friend.. I find the cooling does work after a fashion but you have to lean up off the seat a bit so as not to block the air holes. I tend to use it in heavy traffic where I get a bit nervous and my back will get hot.. I find the gentle breeze that blows on my back when I lean forward off the seat a bit gives some nice relief ;) What you said about the heating is spot on :) Take care my FRIEND :)
I have a Toyota Tundra and it's not very quiet inside so I barely notice the sound.. Its really not very loud. The air comes out on the lower back on the sides.. it actually does make a little difference.. esp when you are feeling very hot and sweating, the air makes a big difference for me :)
