You will need NVQ qualifications in plumbing if you want to work in the public or private sector like NHS, schools, and many who will insist in qualifications ..... Obviously you don't need qualification if you want to be self employed, but you need experience ..... I think James is offering a beginner course to teach basic plumbing for general public! And if you find it interesting, then you can apply to a college for NVQ course ..... Don't take the few weeks courses because they don't teach you anything, and instead do courses at college which will take two to three years [ 2 days a week, 1 day (3 hours) theory, and 1 day (3 hours practice) .... Or it could be 6 hours in one day] ......and most importantly you find someone to work with to gain experience, and sometimes it can be hard to find one ....

You need to be gas safe registered as well

The pipe may have been undersized to the new radiators. If there is long runs of 10mm they will never get hot enough

@@TheSion6 appreciate the reply. I've checked the pipes and they all seem to be the same size so not sure that's the issue

When you say the pipes are hot, do you mean both flow and return? As previous poster said, the longer the run that harder the water has to push through. Have you tried closing down all other rads in the house and just leave those two fully open?

@@mushy3424 so I tried the closing all radiators apart from the two in the outbuilding, and the rads got hot. The outbuilding rads are probably about 8 metres away from the nearest rad in the house.

If the water pressure and flow rate was OK before the combi was fitted, there is a good chance the stoptap is not fully open or the cold isolater on the boiler is not fully open.

it wasnt the best but it was better than i have now and both taps are open full , pressure from the street is all good as water board have checked so somewhere from the street to the house thats where it drops i think whats the best way to check this? @@TheSion6
