It's so much fun every week to watch you two in action. To see the love you have for each other, knowing that the baby is coming and the great progress you are making is heart warming and exciting. I'm looking forward to all the coming videos.
That's funny, my folks dug an outhouse back in the 70's while they were building the ranch house. They called it the "far out house" for obvious reasons as it was far away from the house. At least yours isn't real but you can have some fin with it. When a guest comes over and wants to use the facilities hand them a roll of toilet paper and show them where the far out house is! You folks are leaving such a great documentation of the start of your family with all your video's. You'll be the hit of all your future family tree.
@earthly firefly5 Dude, you need to chill. People come to this channel to enjoy, relax, & escape life for a moment. Life is too short. Being so serious and caustic will just leave you old & bitter in the end.
@earthly firefly5 WTH? Just another nutcase troll with nothing better to do than spew hatred and discontent at folks who work their butts of to improve their lives and start a family! "GO AWAY TROLL, GET A LIFE FOR YOURSELF"
radioactivelarry Instead of a roll of toilet paper hand them a corn cob. Before my teen years we lived in central Louisiana and had an outhouse near the back of our property. After we moved to the New Orleans area, in the early 60s, we would still spend the summers and the long holidays like Christmas in central LA. I had a cousin that had an outhouse and there was always a box full of corn cobs in easy reach. They grew corn to feed their animals and had a hand crank tool that stripped the kernels off the cobs and we would bring the cobs back to the outhouse. Bathing / showering was done using a #3 wash tub. It was about 3 feet in diameter and around 18 inches deep. During the warmer months it was on the back porch. I also remember when they built the addition to their house, which was a bathroom. I don’t remember a box for the corn cobs in the new bathroom.
Woot Woot × 2! 1.) Pumphouse looks great! (yay crescent moon) 2.) Bear's out of his cone! Little by little yall are making a dream come true... God bless you!
You will be happy if you put one more hing in the center off the door from worping in the center guys. Yes it did turn out good guys. Hope you ran the over flow down to the pond.
not sure master hahahaha, only normal men men can do all what need if need build house, repair car, build tower, make swimminpool, and smart men can do what i do last week, bluetooth portable speakers, portable radio, game console raspberry pi 3, wery simple easy made wood all box and add elektric in and use.
All I can think of is what a tribute you are giving this sweet baby! He/she will grow up and be so grateful! I truly love your talent with the construction of your home but...now. .this sweet baby is taking center stage! You are even more beautiful pregnant! 😄
*It does all the graphics one would need to display an idea to a container home lover. **containar.homes** Easy. Effective. Must have. I especially enjoyed the auto-roofing option. It made a long story short, and did it with amazing lines.*
Congrats to you both! You both look so happy together! My wife and I have been married 25 years and both of our kids are out on their own now. We are looking to down size from our 3000 square ft home to a 1500 to 2000 sq ft home. We have had our ups and downs but We are still very happy together. It wasn't always easy but we made it. I wish you both years of happiness together!
As I have said before you two are just the greatest little couple. I do so much enjoy your videos and this is the only one on youtube that I search for all the time. You are the BEST.......YOU DO SUCH BEAUTIFUL WORK....
NO, don't paint it black. Get some insulaton that has some reflective foil on it and put the foil facing the inside so that all the suns rays are reflected around the tank, to the bottom and other parts that the sun does not directly shine on.
@@rushd45 No, with reflection some light will reflect out (through the glass) the box. Key is to tranfer light to heat ASAP (Heat will stay in the box better than light).. Heat also will fill the box evenly and don't depend on light angles.
The way she looks at him at 14:00 shows how much admiration she has for him, iIts so sweet. You guys are the best couple on youtube right now! Keep making these amazing videos!
I will be so lost when this project is done. I just love watching you all build your dream house together. I wonder what you will make videos of after you are done?
If Spencer made a plastic dome for the batch heater, it could act like a greenhouse. And trap the heat in for longer. And might increase the temperature. Put it on hinges, to make it a flip top, or mount simple handles on it for grabbing to removal and replacement.
LOL shows how much I know, I had no idea that they got paid if we watch the adds! So funny and kinda sad that I could be so uninformed but hey this teckie stuff, yeah not really my forte.
@@joemccallum710 I use Premium too; they actually get paid more for us Premium subscribers than those that watch the ads. So far as I've read with regard to my own channel.
I love to see what you are working on each time you post a video. It gets more and more exciting with each new thing you finish, I love that pump house it's so cute with the crescent moon on the door. I love to see the progress on things and watch the two of you work together, you are so adorable and I always smile and giggle. Thanks for sharing, so excited for more videos, and the new baby what a beautiful child this baby is going to be.
I can truly say that when I watch your videos, they are too short. I never want them to end when they do. You two are doing a great job and I enjoy watching you so much!
You two & a half have got your act together. Wow, Spencer is really becoming a great craftsman. Wishing you both only the best. Still thinking it’s a Girl as beautiful as her mommy.
the house, the vids , the tunes, and now adding another little person, wow! you guys got it hooked up and you are truly blessed! ! thank you for sharing your growth and effort!
Also need an escape hatch...for when someone is on the inside doing something and the wind blows, slams the door shut and triggers the door latch...locking that someone inside...think it won't happen....? 😏
Never get tired of watching you guys and your creativity and the love you show for each other. You guys were made for each other and you will have a beautiful family. Just wish your videos were longer and you produced more of them.
... talk about two folks that were ABSOLUTELY created for one another...i am SO dang excited (as i'm sure y'all & your family is as well, oh & 🐻 dog too) for your continued journey... really love and appreciate ALL y'all's environmentally (🌍) conscientious decisions/choices on your homestead/house build ! ☮️&🌱's
Not only am I learning from your channel, I am just enjoying the fun you guys are having together. I Pray you are able to share this wonderful mindset with your many great grand children and family friends along the way.
I didn't see where you installed the inner door jambs, did I miss that? Without the inner jambs, the door can over swing and pull out the hinges?? P.S. Really look forward to your videos and marvel at your skills and handy work! Keep it up and congratulations on the upcoming addition to the little family
Looks great. That is the best looking outhouse I've ever seen. A bit close to your house. Usually, outhouses are located downwind, awhile away, and surrounded by flowers. Keep up the good work. Love your channel.
We were playing basketball and a friend of mine did a slam dunk, catching his wedding band on one of the net holders. He hung there for what seemed like eternity, screaming, then fell. Where his ring was made of gold, it stretched & broke. The finger was dislocated & broke and required some tendon repair & stitches. The doctor said that if the band was wider/thicker or if the ring had been made from a tougher metal like titanium or tungsten, the finger would've been torn completely off. I completely endorse the silicon bands for work & play.
True, but very optional. The pvc pipe I installed on my tanks over 20 years ago, in the Texas sun most of the day, show very little degradation :) Maybe another 10-15 years, they may need replacing.
Some paints may weaken the pipe or the toulene thinner in the paint may weaken the glue. I would definitely zip-tie some of the pre-formed pipe insulators to the exposed plumbing. They now make a silicon based version that's great. I've went out & checked the exposed plumbing in my pumphouse in 18-20 degree weather and the silicon insulators feel warm to the touch compared to the air temperature. With it doing so well in the pumphouse, I went wild & re-insulated all of my plumbing under the house. I haven't had a frozen pipe since.
@@jamesooten3659 Very good point on the paints! I never thought of it from that point. I don't know where this 'painting your pvc' started, but I never heard of it until the last year, and only on youtube. I can see if you want the pipe to match your house, etc, and only for drain pipes, but a little research is a good idea before doing something because you saw it on YT LOL
You two are absolutely adorable! I've had my plans for my container home for over six years! I'm living on a fixed income which makes it hard. I'm a Vet but I'm not giving up! Thank you for all you do to care your story
million men have ring in finger and newer not has do accident at work, totally idiot and stupid think what not have possiple newer. if i have and many million other men has do work ,elektric, metal, welding, woodwork, many last 30 year and newer newer not have do any accident ,idiot think have possiple.
I build doors for a living and I predict that your pumphouse door will tear itself apart. You need to allow the tongue and groove panel to swell and contract.
That is a nice looking pond. I want to recommend that if you put a new pier in get a ratty pontoon cheap, junk everything but the floats, replace the deck with some new water proof deck boards. I have done this for several rotten piers on my 25 acre pond and looks and works great! Keep up the great work!
Spencer and Kenzie, I have been watching from the beginning. The 2 of you are so good together. The baby should be real proud of its parents for what they are doing and for being such a team. I love you guys and patiently await the finished product. You are doing everything the right way. Love your posts, keep up the good work.
Hello, After seeing the view from the babies room window, you need to put another fence with self locking gate, between the house and the pond! Don't wait to long, leaning to walk only takes a blink of your eyes!
@@BeachComberNoni Depending on the climate in you area. Freezing is a MAJOR problem. November through February(northern hemisphere) have very short days and long nights. Minimal sun and freezing weather are a bad combination for solar.
Thanks to RU-vid for recommending this to me. Love the channel already, and there’s such a positive vibe to it. The relationship you two have is just heart warming. The way you two look at each other is just breath taking. Whatever you two are doing, keep it up!
Nice door, Try a diagonal brace from hinge side bottom to top will stop saging and raking. Seeing you sweat like that might be why you didn't work in the house in this heat. BTW it snowed here yesterday on our Modern Cabin Build. Shed looks cool.
My great grandparents planted rose bushes on either side of the privy to camophage. Also, used the Sears and Roebuck catalog. I would not want to go back to those days.
Your home is looking incredible! Great work. I can't wait to see it when it's finished. I love all the little touches like the matching siding and the crescent moon. Thats what really stamps your personality on a place.
CONGRATS ON 263,000 Subscribers WOW 😲👏❤️ Pumphouse & overflow on your tanks look great 👍 The housing box for Hot water heater tank is gonna look great also. ❤️👍👍
A LESSON LEARNED and bunch of words for you....True Union Ball Valves....like in your pump house at the connection from your primary line so in the future if you need to repair/ replace anything.
I thought for a moment that I gave you the idea of an outhouse for the pump house but you planned very well with humor. Poor Bear and that stupid cone I am glad he got it off now.
