It's interesting you mention this because I listened to a sermon about the rapture and heaven the other day and that question came up. What happens to loved ones? And because there will be no pain and no sorrow (and no marriage) that you most likely won't really recall these sorrows. Not to say you won't remember that you had parents on earth but that, even if they aren't there, you won't experience a sense of loss or sadness. God isn't having any of that in heaven so nothing that causes any sense of pain or sorrow will be present. If friends and family are there and bring joy to us then we will continue to experience it but if there is something that caused us depression or sadness it won't be there with us. Something to consider because we tend to look at these issues with worldy, human-like emotions which won't be the same as what we experience in heaven.

If they believed in Jesus, that's what counts. It doesn't matter if you're open or vocal about it. It's what's in your heart. If they believed in Him for the forgiveness of sins and as Savior then they are there.

I sometimes do not care whether i live or pass. i need help. Are there books available online?

Amem, your heart is connected! However that is not the reality for the majority of the Christians today.

I know this is old, but please listen again. I see nothing weird about his question. Just have an open mind about the fact that all of our views about heaven (including yours) is distorted. Then, have a willing mind to dive in and think deeply about it with the guidance of the holy spirit and the word of GOD.

+Frank Gant - No one knows what it will truly be like. But there won't be stress, anger, sadness, fear.. or anything negative. An absolute happiness that will never fade.. never bore you.. perfect temperatures.. no hunger nor thirst, just absolute perfection and harmony. And whats the alternative after death anyways? There is no middle choice. Its either heaven or hell.. an everlasting joy, love, comfort, and happiness.. or an everlasting torment, pain, gnashing of teeth, fear and horror? God never intended hell for man, hell was created for the devil and the fallen angles who came against God. But, out of corrupted hearts of man.. majority will end up in hell, because they played God off as a myth so they can be comfortable doing sin.

cutting grass is great exercise :) ...glory to God!

This lazy behavior is also a result of sin, you will be healed of that, and if you hate cutting grass, God will get something you love to do, by the way, heavens is not a place of punishment but a place of joy and peace. Relax the Garden of Eden was much better than our earth is today; heaven will be far better than the garden of Eden, God will be there all the time shining his power and glory on us. You will like it.

It's not about being lazy; it's about enjoying the activity. Do you really think you know me so well that you can judge me as lazy? I don't like cutting grass, but I do it. Are you telling me that you enjoy every single thing that you do? If so, then I bow to you as God of the universe! I dare you to do something for someone that you really hate to do. Then come back and talk to me.

Lol, I hate work too, maybe I'm lazy, or I haven't found job I love, but when I do things I love I'm not lazy, if only could find job that matches my loves and skills without degree.too old now. And pays anything I can live on.Hopefully none of these concerns in heaven. I'm supposed to be a Christian, heaven seems too good to be true. I believe, help my unbelief,Jesus!
