I had the opportunity to test drive this new GT and a McLaren 570s. The McLaren is a great car, but I had to go with the new AMG GT! I was blown away by how it was able to hide that weight and had so much fun driving it. I couldn’t figure out how it’s able to accelerate so quick. But I imagine it’s actually using that weight to its advantage. It would help by adding more grip to those tires with that 4matic plus tech. Once up to speed, it uses its aero and other tech to allow you to drive it like crazy. I get mine this January and I’m so stoked!! Great review!
@@Isingyoudie073 the rear air vents are cool on the 992 generations. There are 9 tabs on the left, and 9 tabs on the right with 2 in the middle to show 992. It's a really cool desing.
It’s funny reading all the ‘I would do this and save the money’. If you are buying this car then your choices are the 911 Turbo S (like every other bald middle aged guy round here), the Aston Vantage (same engine, British engineering (which will break)), a Ferrari Roma (so . . . . basic) or this. You aren’t buying a used old version (eww) to save money. You have the money. I bought this. Bring the 🔥
When you don't take the car to the mountain roads, the excitement of the video and the information obtained from the car decreases.sorry my bad english
Sad thing is this car is slower then a m3 or m4 comp xdrive and is priced at 200k 😂 my car 0-60 is 2.8 sec and a 11.0 quarter mile (well when it was stock)
The AMG GT (previous gen) is much more appealing and the price makes it hard to justify the new gen. Even though this car is beautiful. Even the AMG GT-R is a more appealing purchase and was much cheaper than this 63.
Dude my car. (M4 comp xdrive) did 0-60 in 2.8 sec stock which is also faster then this off the line and probably to the quarter but id still rather have this car. No one cares dude. And anyways passing speed it far more useful in everyday driving and this and my car are way faster from a roll then a tesla model 3 . I've smoked a few model 3s already.
Nobody's paying 200k for this and for the fools that do, I'll be waiting for that second owner spot to open up at sub100k with 25k miles when the next gen comes out
@@Bobthebuilder-mj5bd AMG GTR was special and it was priced cheaper than this. Tell me what's special about this GT63? FMR? transaxle gearbox? M178 dry sump? Faster than 911 gt3 on Nurburgring? If its nothing special it makes absolute no sense to be priced at 210k(almost 20k more than the amg gtr). I can afford it but I would never pay for it.
@@Bobthebuilder-mj5bd im getting a used 720 for 200k because that's supercar money. This will be outdated in five years like every merc interior. The screens are cheap bro, performance is cool but even then you're telling me cars like an M5CS is 50k cheaper?
