We were shooting at a metal target about 25m distance, with different weights, at that short distance we could clearly notice the sound of the impact was way louder with 0.36 than 0.25 and 0.28, so... we decided to change to a volunteer human target, same gun, different weights almost no joule drop between the weights, at 35m heavier bbs hurts way more than light bbs, flesh test confirmed, we already know it was going to be like that, but there is always someone who wants to use the heavier they can and will make use of any excuse they can grab on. At my field, 0.3 max for guns under 1.14j, 0.43g DMR and sniper, and thats the end.

If you hit point blank (within 1m) with .28 at 1J it will hurt the same as .40 at 1J. now, I think the general misconception is that people compare energy conservation through distance. obviously a .28 bb at 1J will conserve less energy of that 1J at 30m that a .40bb at 1J same distance. and just to be correct, is not that it hurts more, the .28 hurts less because it looses energy faster

Its all about what you use it for, distance you shoot people at and Joule you shoot. A heavyer bb WILL carry its energy further out then a lighter bb cause of weight, its all about momentum. BUT its really hard to prove on paper, but can be proven with the right crono

Yes I thought about ways to prove this not just with the app.. but I dont have the big V - crono or could not find any with it, so kinda impossible.

with the app i find the most accurate way is to input all the infor in but no matter the weight change to FPS/MPS to what it would be at with 0.2g

@@kaslab the actual flight path for upgraded hop rubbers. It's not perfect but seem to work better especially with heavier BBS

my m8 say use 0.32 for my gun but i use 0.40 yeah do cost more but range and hitting on target best👍

no a bb drops fast in speed, this is what people don't understand, it's a VERY light weight balistic object, so it gets effected by wind/air a lot..

What will hurt u more? pingpong ball at 1J or a golf ball at 1J........easy ofc the golf ball will hurt u more. Mass is everything :). Btw love your videos and hope to see u at Frysen airsoft field soon ( there were some Danes there i think 2 weeks ago). Keep up the good work.
