Another trip to Heathrow, this time to film some departures from the southern runway. This video is heavies only bar one Air Canada 737 MAX. The weather was also decent too, a good bit of summer morning sunshine
Quite a few interesting movements featured in this video including a couple of special liveries - a Delta 767 wearing the BCRF awareness livery and a Qantas 787-9 in the 100th anniversary livery. Other movements of interest include the Qatar and Singapore A380, a Gulf Air 787-9 which kept its gear down due to hot brakes, Cathay Pacific A350-1000 and much more!

very nice video my friend never seen a b787 taking off with it's landing gear down when it's brakes are hot hope it managed to get to it's destination ok keep your vids coming

Something is up with the Gulf Air. Gears should have been retracted. Maybe gear failure.

brakes are most likely still very hot. retracting them can be a fire hazard.

Unlikely hot brakes, as all other jet retract seconds after take off. Maybe a technical issue.

@@mcraft2240 trust me it happens more often than you think, mostly due to the fact that these aircraft may have fast turnaround times which doesn’t allow enough time for the brakes to cool. hot weather can also be a factor for this as the brakes requires much time to cool and in the heat the cool-down will be much slower.
