Update Feb 2012 - This video is from 2006 after we originally launched the Heavy Duty Ball Winder. Many features of the unit have ben changed over the year. For example, you no longer need to hold the yarn in your hand as we now have a fully adjustable tensioner post. The handle also now has a large ball on the end which we call the Ergo Handle. There are other smaller and less noticeable changes on the current unit but suffice it to say that the original design is still essentially intact and therefore, this video has value to the viewer. We wound the balls in this video from other balls because it was easier for me to do that while making the video. It wouldn't be until 4 years after this video was made that we introduced our very own heavy duty swift and skein-winder which you can also view on You tube.
