To me Allen is a real metal fabricator, working more with his hands and mind and not a bunch of expensive equipment.Great job.Im old school,I appreciate how you build things, and you do it well.great work
My dad was a kick ass welder /fabricator. He built BBQ pits, Trailers, and petty much anything metal.. Cancer took him out of the game over 20 years ago.. but his work still remains. I still see Bbq pits still being used today.. anyway seeing you work and your stills reminded me of watching him at work.. thank you I needed that especially that today is Father’s Day.
you are a master with the cutting torch - I've never seen anyone cut steel plate, like you. Your grills are top notch - I would be proud to own one...... I am starting into this field - just bought a plasma cutter and a new mig welder, hoping to have some fun going into retirement soon. Love your videos
Definitely a master build, this gentleman is a genius, great video, great product, well made, will last for ever, he knows what he is doing. I love this video.
Sir!!!!! I'm just loving this grill. I build fan assisted gravity fed grills and material costs and prep time is a pain in the butt. I just watched you school me on how to build heavy duty grills in half the time. Those legs are freaking awesome. Flat stock on a 45 degree angle is genius and I will be using this technique to do my builds. You sir are a rock star.
Who in the world could have thumbs down this video?!? I think all men admire people creating something especially when sweat and elbow grease are spent in the process. What gets me is Allen is building bbq grills, who in their right mind hates bbqs? Must be a Coleman, Brinkman competitor of some sort.
Lastly, I believe Allen is the most humble person on RU-vid. Allen will ask for a simple thumbs up at the end and no more, he keeps to the point, no fuss no muss. I appreciate his efforts and will continue tuning in.
Roland Taitt lol..at this moment the are 15 couch surfers who sadly disagree. There are some stupid peeps out there, judgemental and sore at the hard workin can do peeps of the world.
143 thumbs down???... must be people that really hate the fact they can't be creative enough to build something like this, keep up the good work really like your videos man!! GOD BLESS YOU..
I love all of your "creations" . You have a special gift and it shows on your work. These bbq's are not like the ones at home depot...these bbq's are to last and pass them to new generations!!! Great materials you use and excelent work!! Thanks a lot for sharing.
Damn Country. Good work! I recognize good torch work and fitment when I see it. All done outside and accurate. Folks just don't know how to work anymore but you just showed them.
well its a long long time since i have seen some one so skilled at oxy cutting. your on a par with a cnc laser cutting, circles, curves and straight lines. your a very skilled hand at this sort of work.. excellent skills.
Thanks Man !! Great Video !!! I'm 49 and I think im going to take a short course in Welding. Your work is inspirational ! Its an awesome creative artistic trade you have !!
Allen, I like your leg design and the octagonal assembly process. Don't sweat the music bullies, they are just creatures chasing a few easy bucks. Another great vid. Thanks. Peter
Love watching you make stuff. Really simplifies the process for me and makes me want to make things like this too. Your stuff is well thought out. Amazing job.
Ive been a welder for 14 years bro and man it feels good when you get done and see your finished product.I've seen some of your other videos bro and man you know how to get down.Awesome keep up the good work.
I really enjoy watching your video's. I think your craftsmanship is unmatched by anybody else out there. Keep up the great work and I'll keep watching.
I’m trying to teach my self how to weld now that I’m retired and give it the time that it requires to become hopefully proficient. I was fortunate enough to have come across your channel and discover someone who is willing to share their experience with us. You seem to take a lot of pride in your work and the quality of your work is incredible. Please keep the videos coming so that the rest of us can learn and enjoy our down time.
Awesome work. TU. the only background music you need brother is your Amazing sounding chickens. so relaxing watching you weld and listening to those guys.
I enjoy your videos and like seeing what you are making. I hope to be able to complete some welding projects with my everlast once I have a bit of spare time. Thanks for sharing your work.
Nice project. I like the heavier plate also, my grills and smoker are parked in a permanent spot. I have a lightweight grill I bring to the track, space and weight is a consideration when traveling. I'm a new sub, looking forward to seeing more videos. I'm an old car guy, truck mechanic and metalworker, I'm enjoying the channel.
I watch your videos for skills you I'm a welder for just a hobby after I retired I worked for a company making aircraft hanger doors we've shipped doors to France and some to Hawaii. I enjoyed making parts and anything to do with welding. Love your videos. But I don't watch them for the music I have a radio for that. I watch them for the expert skills on display. Just keep them coming
Thanks for the great video Allen, you're a very talented welder. Great imagination on your grill designs. Functionality looks great and they'll last longer than a Weber from WalMart for sure! lol.. I liked & subscribed to your channel... looking forward to more videos! Thanks from Oklahoma man!!
I saw your video when you first started, then it was gone. One of the pro welders was talking bout your grills, some time later , you came back on. Glad your back.
I started to check out this video thinking it would be another BBQ review or demo cook, but then got completely sucked in by that build process. Dude is a surgeon with those welding torches. lol. Very impressive. now I gotta check out all the rest of the collection.... :-)
New subscriber here man, I really enjoy your vids.. No music necessary. I'm a welder myself, & interested in building an over the top grill surface for an open firepit for a relative. That's how I got here. Really appreciate your torch skills.. Keep up the superb work!
I've been meaning to tell you that I think you have an awesome talent. You seem to be doing great work under less than ideal conditions. I've subscribed, love watching your talent unfold. Keep it up.
Travis Shrewsbury did allen or anyone get in contact with you about building you one of these ? if not you can text me at 254-433-3687 , i’m near abilene tx , i don’t want to interfere with this good mans business but seems most all these guys never contact you when you ask , i believe his business is called country bbq pits if u wanna search that
Built to last....I went to welding school and finished and truly didn't see what i would of done different.looks like a quality build to me.I don't know if you sell them but it looks like a quality product i would buy and feel that it would last awhile.
Very happy for you Allen! Been watchin the channel a while, glad to see how busy you are and the channel growing! Soon we'll see you workin under a roof and on a nice concrete slab!
I made a bbq pit out of 1/4" aluminum plate. The coal box and grill are stainless steel. Wont rust and cleans easy. Has a pull out drawer at the bottom to empty the ashes. Have pics of it, but don't know how to upload them to you tube.
a very nice work done here, your grills are sturdy and will outlast most of commercially available ones. don't be tempted to use too thin sheetmatal as you'll encounter warping issues, there grills are heavy but they are fine as they are.
